I like where he calls Frank a shrewd Sicilian like he wasn't born in fucking Brooklyn. Don't get me wrong, he's a very smart guy and more "Sicilian" than most Sicilian-Americans. But he's still an American. Just like anyone else born here, like the Long Island American who owns that ridiculous site. I'm mad at myself for even looking. I didn't know it was that site at first. It's loaded with malware and porn pop-ups.

I honestly believe that Jerry is tired or writing. Now, God forbid he's sick that's a different story. But I saw a fairly recent interview with him and he has all his marbles and looks good for 71 years old. But he was such a professional, that it saddens me if it's true that he's letting other people write his column and putting his own name on it. I thought he was above that. But who knows?

Yeah, and to be fair a lot of writers burn out much younger than that. Writer's block. Booze. Some guys are one hit wonders. Jerry gave it his all for forty years. He should just sell the site, or at least give the ghostwriters credit. Because he was a real newspaper pro. The last of the print generation. I hate to see him go out like this.

I've said before that both Capeci and Anastasia seemed burned out.

Anyway, interesting read.

I was quite disappointed a couple weeks ago when gangland featured an all Lufthansa anniversary edition. And if I see one more craftily snuk in behind a jailhouse beating article about mob wives, I'm cancelling Jerry and going back to reading it for free somewhere else

Gman should be interesting when asoro trial starts I think Oct. 1 weird thing why he give massino some jewels from the heist if Joe didn't become a call till after galante hit in 79. The heist was Dec 78.
