William D'Elia question - 08/13/15 05:19 AM
I know he flipped and got 9 years butwho exactly did he testify against in oc? I know he was involved in the Pocono casino gaming case w some priest and a state official and maybe slick eddy rendell but does anyone know what oc trials he testified at? Thanks for any responses guys
Louis DeNaples did have some level of connection to the mob, IIRC. I seem to remember making a thread about D'Elia a few years back that may have explored this a bit.

Did that dude even warrant enough attention to warrant (no pun intended) WITSEC protection? What a waste of government funds.

I don't think he's in WITSEC. I remember hearing or reading somewhere that he was working in a deli in Exeter, PA. That's a little southwest of his old stomping grounds, but still not far.

Not in WITSEC. He's back on the streets in all the local joints. The Denaples thing was a grand jury testimony when he was in custody. No OC testimony.

Wasn't he brought around and testified at "numerous trials of various mobsters"?

Word on the street is the Denaples Grand Jury was the only one because he wasn't able to plead the 5th because he was still not sentenced. There was another grand jury having to do with a local guy Tom Joseph and a trial fix, plead the 5th in that one.
