The Gasoline Tax Scam

I heard two different stories about who started the gasoline tax scam for the Italian La Costa Nostra . It was either Anthony "Gaspipe" Casso or Michael Franzese . Who was it ?

I believe the Colombos were first. I don't know if Franzese was the first.

The idea for the scam was Lawrence iorizzo's he was a Colombo associate , franseze seems to take all the credit for it though .

True it was not Franseze idea. I don't believe anything franseze says always trys to make himself sound more important

. Right on Dom ... Casso came in years later . But there were many trying to muscle in the entire time the Colombo's had it .
