Crime Families in California - 06/09/15 03:10 AM

The city of Los Angeles together in Miami is considered an open city where you can make a lot of money, given that the Milano family is now defunct I'm trying to see what representative of American families are located in LA.
Come in mind to me, Joe Isgro for the Gambino, Dominic "Donnie Shacks" Montemarano for the Colombo, and Ronald A. "Ronnie" Lorenzo, for the Bonanno.

In addition to the Americans in the city there is the alliance of secondigliano forthe camorra the Gambino-Inzerillo clan for the sicilian mafia.

1. Louis "Little Louie" Caruso - owns Golden Air, Inc. and Caruso Mechanical Services in Phoenix, AZ
2. Michael "Porno Mike" Esposito - owns Gentleman's Video (adult film company) in Los Angeles, CA
3. Thomaso "Tommy" Gambino/43 - runs Royal Entertainment, Inc
4. Russell "Rusy" Massetta/61 - was made in Los Angeles, now lives in Cleveland, married to Pete Milano's sister
5. Leonardo "Limping Lenny" Montana - bookmaker, owns Enzo's Pizzeria in Los Angeles, CA
6. Robert "Fat Bobby" Paduano/70 - involved in 1991 drug case, loanshark

8. Rocco "Rocky Bigfoot" Zangari/82 - moved back to Buffalo, inactive

Possible Members:
Paulo "Paulie Tattoos" Rossi - a bookmaker, owned a tattoo shop
Michael "Sports Bar Mike" Russo - bookmaker, works with LA family but not a part of according to Kenji
James Testa - was made though possibly not in Los Angeles family

when I'll have other names I'll post it.

Massetta is inactive and living in Cleveland. Buffalo has a member in LA. Chicago has two members in the city but they are retired as far as anyone can tell. Detroit might have someone in the city, but the only made men they have on the west coast are located in San Diego, and the bay area. New Jersey has a member in the city. Genovese family has a retired member living room n Malibu. All five of the NYC families have least one or more made members in the city. This does not include associates living in or around LA. LA is pretty much open to all other family. Peter Milano and the LA family never recover from the late 1990's bust that was both a wrecking ball and final nail in the coffin for that family.

No but did Pete miliano live like a king there in his last days? I'm sure he had more friends then probaly any other mobster in the USA up in the Hollywood hills. His father was a casino boss in Cuba right?

OldSmoke, try using the search button, I and some other have gone into details here and there about Northern California LCN. SF has 3 or 4 made members left, one flipped, one moved to LA in the early 1990', I don't think another member is made, just an associate. SJ has 6-7 members left, one lives in Sacramento, one lives outside Reno, one moved to Sicily in 97' and may have passed away already given his age at 88 for this year, the rest still live in Santa Clara county. All members are legit, though some of those associates are doing gambling, book, shy, and couple of other thongs, but nothing for the FBI to check up on. There are a couple of Mafiosi from Sicily and few associates operating in the Bay Area. The Calabrians and Napolitanos both have a small presence in SF and a few of the surrounding counties. Other LCN from America that are operating in Northern California, is a member of Detroit, a Member from Chicago, and a member from Boston. There are two NYC made members, a Bonanno, and a Lucchese who are both retired in the early 1990', one when Joe became Boss, and the other when Vic and Gaspipe were on their purge and paranoia. Genovese and Lucchese have associates in SF but no made men. Gambinos are mentioned a lot as having people in the bay, but really only and three members and the last one died in the late 1990', who help hide Gotti Jr in Livermore during his legal problems, that is where the friendship of John Gotti Jr and Salvatore Marino of SJ started and the rumor that the Gambinos were helping to rebuild both bay area families.

Tommy Gambino that rules on what remains of the family was the Rosario son of the cherry hills gambino and have ties with the Gambinos and the Inzerillo-Gambinos Clan in Sicily.

Thomas Napolitano passed away in 2012. The one I was talking about is from the same crew but was made a decade later after Napolitano was made in 48' in San Jose.
Bill is strange with his charts for the bay are cause, he does not seperate members of other families who operate in the bay area, and he puts associates as members when they were never made. Tony Ditri, brother to Daniel Ditri, was made in the Bonanno family but was transferred to SJ in the mid 1960'. Salvatore Marino, father of Angelo, moved to the bay area but remained with Pittsburgh family. Gerry Gallo was a Mafioso with Sicily, not with San Jose, his brother Giuseppe was made in San Jose but died in 90 or 91. Crazy Joe Gallo was only in San Jose to hide from the mobsters that were pissed off at him, as invitee by Salvatore Cerrito who in turned was given the ok by Joe Cerrito. Carmelo Sciortino was made in LA then transferred to SF to help his uncle Tony Sciortino who passed away in 39' before moving to San Jose to help his brother who was made in SJ not SF. Orlando was never made, only an associate who was related to Napolitano through marriage, his son was trying to extort money from Angelo Marino, when Angelos son Salvatore thought he was supposed to kill Peter, not knowing they were just going to scare the kid.
