Closer to 100.. 100-120. Lots of associates and young guys, though.

They were large and strong as was all the other LCN families in NYC at that times. The Bonanno's were probably the smallest at that point.

A very strong family for most of its history

Have always been strong in labor , construction , garbage and gambling

Also had some of the biggest dealers

Scratch out the Casso debacle and they are the family with the closest resemblance to WS, their Harlem factions were very very close from the beginning of CN

So you're looking at around 100 members at that point. Of course, there were likely some that hadn't been identified as yet.

Al D'Arco said the max Lucchese membership was put at 125-140 members.
