American LCN in Music - 02/21/15 06:44 AM

Well they blew up the chicken man in Philly last night now they blew up his house too
Down on the boardwalk they're gettin' ready for a fight gonna see what them racket boys can do

Now there's trouble busin' in from outta state and the D.A. can't get no relief
Gonna be a rumble out on the promenade and the gamblin' commissions hangin' on by the skin of its teeth

Bruce Springsteen Atlantic City

I remember a stoy my grandfather told me about a guy he knew a while ago like 50's or 60's I think but could be wrong. Anyways he said this guy was getting pretty big and popular and one night some mobsters came to his hotel room and told him to signn some sort of contract basically giving themm a lot of his royalty money and stuff and the guy refused. And after that my granfather said he didn't get played anymore on the radio etc. O cant remember the singers name though lol.

"Murder Incorporated"

Bobby's got a gun that he keeps beneath his pillow
Out on the street your chances are zero
Take a look around you (come on now)
It ain't too complicated
You're messin' with Murder Incorporated

Now you check over your shoulder everywhere that you go
Walkin' down the street there's eyes in every shadow
You better take a look around you (come on now)
That equipment you got's so outdated
You can't compete with Murder Incorporated
Everywhere you look now, Murder Incorporated

So you keep a little secret down deep inside your dresser drawer
For dealing with the heat you're feelin' out on the killin' floor
No matter where you step you feel you're never out of danger
So the comfort that you keep's a gold-plated-snub-nose-thirty-two
I heard you

You got a job downtown, man that leaves your head cold
Everywhere you look life ain't got no soul
That apartment you live in feels like it's just a place to hide
When you're walkin' down the street you won't meet no one eye to eye
The cops reported you as just an another homicide
But I can tell that you were just frustrated
From living with Murder Incorporated
Everywhere you look now, Murder Incorporated
Murder Incorporated

Yeah nice song, don't joke with the Muder Incorporated.

STLguy has nothing to do with the treat, they are only blacks who call their band Gambino family

Ode to Salvatore "Mr Moran" Gravano

I was under the boss when they made him
And I was made a short time after that
I was under oath when I testified
I'm under government protection
Now they're calling me a rat
Mr. Moran, that's who I am
Some call me Sal, some call me Sam
Some call me when they're in a jam
Cause I'm the man, I'm Mr. Moran
I eat punks like you, I do for breakfast
You're just a bowl of cereal to me
I might be from deep in the heart of Texas
Or maybe I'm from New York
Make that Knoxville, Tennessee
Mr. Moran, that's who I am
Some call me Sal, some call me Sam
Some call me when they're in a jam
Cause I'm the man, I'm Mr. Moran

They will motherfuck me in a heartbeat
But first they've got to find me to do that
I've been selling ecstasy in Arizona
Under government protection
Now who's a fuckin' rat?
( Mr. Moran, that's who I am
Some call me Sal, some call me Sam
Some call me when they're in a jam
Cause I'm the man, I'm Mr. Moran [x2] )
I'm the man, I'm Mr. Moran [x2]

Here's the one by Bob Dylan about Joey Gallo. Although i do like some of Dylan's songs, i don't particularly care for this track.

Re: American LCN in Music - 03/03/15 11:26 AM

This song was inspired/written about Henry Hill.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9rxErefx8t0

Lyrics:

Kiss all your saviors goodbye
Offer them up to the dead
No kidding you know who's right
And whose got a price on their head

No doubt I'd sell you all out
For a pocket full of silver and gold
Way back when, when they made me one of them

Don't you know they're gonna' save my soul

I can't hang around with you like this my friend
Our time has come to an end

I can't play around with you no more
No, I'm seeing this open door

And I know you saw right through me
Afraid I'm taking you for a ride

But when you're dead you're dead
When you're gone you're gone
I got my conscience at both of my sides

I set out to disappear
And out there I found a new home
But listen Jack, you're on the wrong side of the tracks
At least now I don't have to walk it all alone

Can you hear the sound of the crawling flesh?
Now can you smell the burning desire?
This place is too small to hide
All the ghosts that's kicking around inside

What this town was entirely built upon
You can find it right between the eyes
Its a bullet hole that'll steal your soul
And roll you for your money and your diamonds
