on the security’s omniscient video cameras.

This is the footage of him strolling through the casino like he owns the joint.

Lots is going to be said about his role in the casino and who he was allegedly involved with there.

For now, though, here is a taste of one thing Vito Rizzuto was up to on his Caribbean trips.

That's pretty crazy.... I can't even imagine walking in the casino and recognizing a guy like him... not sure what hotel that is, but I go to DR frequently

He's like a fictional character compared to the NY guys... so much more reach and clout....

I don't know, that's just how I see it... as far as mob watching goes...too bad he went the way he did... ha

I just saw this vid on another thread, I wonder what tme of the day or night that was.

The footage was taken by a security camera; so perhaps check more closely for a datestamp and timestamp in the video--I haven't done this yet.

We also know that Rizzuto was in the casino again the very next day (August 14, 2013).

Oh he really did, I think what allowed him and his organization to prosper and maintain so much was the strength, stability and versatility they displayed, not to mention they were center-stage throughout Canada and even USA when it comes to narcotics, a huge moneymaker, and to command such control in that area of the underworld for any clan is impressive, lots of muscle, but also a LOT of brains.

Not sure if this was posted here at the time, but this is the type of reach these guys have. I read an article around 2010(which I can post here and translate if anybody is interested) about a feud between the Rizzutto's and some other drug-importers they had a joint deal with, and long story short, these guys tried muscling the Rizzuto HQ, the Consenza, and in response, one of their enforcers rented an helicopter, went over the house of that clan's leader, and strafed it with AK-47's... later saying "Now this shows we can find them anywhere".

That is nuts.

What you refer to is the escalation of the dealings between the Rizzutto organization, especially Arcadi, and the D'Amico clan, isn't it!? I think the story was posted before, but I can't remember the article about it.

I don't know anything about this guy or his kids. But there are many guys around this area that have big money investing it down there .The things i here they are investing in is mainly in the tourist industry gambling ,woman , golf courses,and all inclusive places..

Yes pmac , there are rumors that his group is trying to muscle into DR's hotel , gambling , tourist and prostitution business which would be a tremendous moneymaker and give them a real international platform

Not to mention the DR has well made drug routes into the US and elsewhere . This would really make them bigger international dope players .

They likely have so much cash from the drug business and it's bulk sales in the US and the construction business that they are looking at other countries ( and in this case a country that is poor , corrupt and begging for seed capital ) to invest in and DR is perfect IMO as it hits 3 core areas of drugs , gambling and construction , not too mention a huge prostitution business for the tourists .

I was with a friend in JC last night and to my amazement he stated that the sharking business is pretty much done , even the segment that attaches to gambling , if u don't pay , u are just immediately blackballed in the area but I was pretty shocked to hear how shy has pretty much dried up . The smart ones got into it legally via pay day loans who are making tons of $ but your typical street loans are a dying breed , and this guy would know as he has a big package and runs big games as well
