Simple question - which mob member has the most interesting face?

According to Philip Carlo, Anthony Casso's face is so interesting, it deserves a chapter, if not a book of its own.

Salvatore Messina's

[James] Bondian in flavor. He represented the face of a man equally intriguing, one we have never seen, Maranzano.

Then when you research Messina, you find out that he was never apprehended by law enforcement and disappeared into the mists of history.

Truly mystifying. I have stared at that photo often.

Re: Most interesting face - 12/03/14 02:07 PM

Lucky Lucianos. He had scars, cuts and bruises all over his face at all time. He was deeply into hookers, I personally believe the great King of Crime was a sadist or that other thing, where you enjoy being hurt or whatever, Gyp Rosetti!

Re: Most interesting face - 12/03/14 02:20 PM

I think this thread is still salvageable.. we could talk about the most interesting mugshots. I agree, Lucky's is pretty much literally the face of Cosa Nostra.

Gotti's 1990 mugshot where he's got a big smile is also unique... I'm not sure how they even allowed him, I think you're not supposed to laugh during photo ID (not sure about the US regulations at the time)
Sammy's too where he's looking down you can almost feel he's thinking of flipping or something. tongue

I also like Pitera's arrest day mugshots although those face wounds make him look like a serial killer with blood spattered on his face... which he was.

Re: Most interesting face - 12/03/14 02:39 PM

I didn't have a problem when I smiled for my mugshot. I've seen plenty of people do the same. I thought of it as a nice break from everyone who looks like shit and acts like they're about to attack the camera

Anthony Casso had high cheekbones that made all the women in Brooklyn swoon. You could crack rocks on his jawline. His smoldering eyes could make any woman stop in her tracks at the drop of a hat. His skin was bereft of any lines; smooth as the finest Italian silks. He had the teeth of a Hollywood movie star. When he smiled, he seemed to have hundreds of teeth; like a shark. His eyelashes were long and fluttered like a hundred butterflies. He had a chin like Kirk Douglas. Some said he could open beer bottles with his chin. Not a hair on his head was out of place. Women loved to stoke it with their fingers.....

Simple question. This is what you came up with when you wanted to ask members information to learn more about the mob?

I am sure there are all types of gossip and fashion sites if you want to talk about things like faces.

Which mobster has a cock that curves to the left the most?

Which mobster jerked off after sitting on their hand to make it fall asleep so it feels like another person was doing it while wearing a blonde wig and lipstick as Sinatra plays?

Yep it's Burke being arrested by the feds after Henry flipped I think. You gotta admit, he looked badass in that picture... he was one tough, crazy Irishman.

Re: Most interesting face - 12/04/14 06:35 PM

Just to put thread topic into context- I've been commisioned to create art that includes interesting looking mobsters.

Obviously this is subjective, but any thoughts would be great!

I personally like Ciro Terranova and Aniello Dellacroce

I would love to see a book about him, from his upbringing to the great robbery, I bet it would be very interesting. he was greatly feared. murder meant nothing to him. make a great read.

I agree with this, but didn't want to nominate Lucky Luciano and appear self serving.

In one mob documentary (don't we just love those video collages?), a man who met him in the old days said "and you never looked him in the eye....it was weird". I can just imagine. To do what Lucky Luciano accomplished, serial killers needed to fear you. Was Lucky Luciano that dangerous? I think yes when we consider what became of Louis Buchalter.

Jimmy Burke had the eyes of a killer that is for sure, either that or he was jacked on coke.
Posted By: Moe_Tilden

Re: Most interesting face - 12/05/14 08:55 AM

Burke spent virtually his entire life in prison or an orphanage.

Burke was almost as fucked up on speed and pills as Hill was. And as everyone knows, that's really saying something.
Posted By: Scalish

Re: Most interesting face - 12/05/14 09:12 AM

That may be the reason his eyes are fucking huge. Yep Hill was a fucking degenerate rat junkie.

Easy, Fat Tony....
Posted By: Malandrino

Re: Most interesting face - 12/05/14 09:25 AM

That's why the guy was so paranoid, especially after the whole Lufthansa deal. I always thought he was just a paranoid psychopath, but add speed or coke into the mix and you got yourself a much bigger problem.

Me too but I don't think we're gonna get anything more. Henry was pretty much one of the only surviving members of Jimmy's crew/friends... but then again a lot is known about him already. He pretty much lived his whole life in and out of foster care and prisons later on. He was abused a lot during his childhood.
Nowadays his name is synonymous with Goodfellas and/or the Lufthansa heist.

@Alfa: That must have been awkward, you couldn't look at Lucky in the eye. grin

Westie Billy Bokun had an original face. Can't find a mugshot right now, though.
