Not real sure but Lubrano's crew wasn't exactly a high-brow bunch. Any guy under 50 who gets busted nowadays is a "rising star" in the media and on the web. He'll probably garner a bit more respect for doing some years in the can but I don't think the guy is future boss material.

You're the only one who considers him a "rising star," Dom tongue grin.

But seriously, buddy. You can't assume that just because a guy is in his '40s, and did some jail time, that he's going to be a part of the administration when he comes home. If that was the case, there would be more captains than soldiers. And that's how Rome fell wink.

We have spoke about this before PB and I agree with what u said , it was the newspapers who said he was a rising star . I wouldn't for one second think he is gonna be on the administration , just wondered if he will just go bak to being a soldier in a crew or is he a candidate for capo ?

Can't imagine he endeared himself when he cried after being sentenced to be sent to jail.

True enough. He still hasn't lived that down entirely. Button or not.

I bet Lubrano said corny stuff like "I'm gonna Lube you up" and "You're about to get Lubricated" when he was getting ready to beat up guys who had fallen behind on their payments.

He's a Bronx guy for sure and actually grew up the Arthur Avenue area I believe, as far as him having Brooklyn guys under him, now Ive read he was the acting for Cuttai at a time but I've heard from knowledgable posters that he may not have even been in that crew and I tend to believe it as his original connection was through the Santorelli's
