... Would the Chicago outfit had been as powerful with him still in charge in 30's and 40's as they where with his heirs in charge(Nitti,Curly,Ricca,Accardo etc).. I'm sure he would have been killed eventually as he just attracted violence..

Remember that Capone's brain was being turned to mush from syphilis. I'd guess he would have been killed by his own men (like a mercy killing).

yes, he was suffering from the discease and if you recall he was let out of prison early because of it. I cant believe what his daughter says in her book. everything I have ever read states he was losing control of his mind.

Al became too much of an obstacle for Chicagos criminal enterprise and again the boys had much respect for him but business is business so i belive that if Al paid his taxes next thing for him was going to be the cement shoes.

Don't put all your eggs in one basket made from a relative's viewpoint. There are MANY medical reports (certified) by doctors who treated Capone and they show that Big Al was clearly touched as early as the middle of his confinement at Alcatraz.
