I don't think the actual hitmen have ever been identified. The German was alleged to have been one of the shooters

Yeah, I don't really follow the Chicago to Vegas pipeline. But I'm pretty sure that no shooters were ever charged.

I think most of the time if a body fell in Chicago you had one of 3 options: The German, LaPietra's, and Aleman lol

Re: Alan Dorfman - 10/01/14 09:10 PM

I haven't come across any information that indicated anyone has been charged.

Irv Weiner was accompanying Dorfman to lunch when he was gunned down in a parking lot. Best I recall, 6-7 .22 shots to the head. Weiner wasn't harmed.

I believe Spilotro was in Vegas and Lombardo was locked-up at the time Dorfman was murdered. Lots of suspects have been mentioned, but none charged as far as I can remember.

Pretty sure Schweihs was the main suspect. Aleman was locked up at the time I believe. It was probably somebody from Grand Avenue because Lombardo was the liaison to Dorfman and the Teamsters, and he had just gone to jail while Dorfman was allowed to post bond.

Yea I should have said 4, I forgot about Lombardo as well. I should have left Aleman out as he spent most of his life in jail but when he was out it seems he was doing nothing but clipping folks lol

This theory would make the most sense.

Initially Frank Schweihs and Ray Spencer ( never heard of Spencer) were named as suspects. Paul Schiro and John Fecarotta later became "persons of interest."

Unsolved.

I guess you need to add Joseph Hansen's name to that list. He did his fair share of work for the Outfit in the seventies and eighties.

Yeah, someone in Lombardo's crew.

Wasn't it just a few weeks before that there was a wiretapped phone convo of Lombardo threatening his life in a round about way?

If Albie Vena drove the vehicle and he should be clear from halfway house Nov 2nd. Why would you mention his name in something like that since there are no Statutes of Limitations on that. Just Curious and not looking for a fight.

Do you really think Vena is going to get indicted over someone on a forum saying it?

Prosecutor:"Judge, we have indicted Mr. Vena on this decades old homicide as new evidence has surfaced. "HuronSocialAthletic" from gangsterbb.com said he drove the vehicle"

Judge: "Good enough for me!"

whistle

Re: Alan Dorfman - 10/03/14 10:13 AM

It was likely someone in Lombardo's crew since Dorfman was considered "his man."

Al Vena is not in a halfway house....Lou Marino is.

I believe you're thinking of when he told Morris Shenker that he might not live to see his next birthday.

Re: Alan Dorfman - 10/03/14 04:20 PM

Actually you can get indicted from a message board post

A message board post regarding Mike McQuery seeing something very in appropriate about Jerry Sandusky is what partially broke the case .

That anonymous post led to investigators questioning McQuery which provide a crucial eye witness to arrest Sandusky.

The post itself didn't get anyone in trouble, they found it to be a credible lead, questioned him and then got the ball rolling. The post itself was not used as evidence. At best someone could question someone about what was said. Unless there is evidence nobody gets indicted.

I could say I'm slinging drugs out the wazoo here, like 1 ton a week of heroin. Doesn't mean I'd get indicted unless someone had proof. It's no different than hearing word from the street and following that up to see if it's true or not.

Sorry Bad info - I should've known better - wasn't verified

For What it's Worth my Opinion:

I think it is O.K. to talk about on BB's Dead People or things that happen that noone can get in trouble - even if it's just a mention which may lead to someone talking to someone that originally had a good cover story and now might not be able to have such a good cover story.

Notwithstanding the above, Current Business should be Face-to-Face with known Trusted Friends.
