I remember there was a way you could see Barney Bellomo's house through Google Maps by typing in his address.

I wonder if Patsy's house is a Bronxville PO in Yonkers or Bronxville in Bronxville?

What the fuck does that mean PB?

Re: Active mobsters houses. - 09/12/14 09:23 AM

He has a beautiful home like I previously posted. I was wondering wether it was in Bronxville proper as oppose to Yonkers area that uses the Bronxville PO. Like several communities that Yonkers surround. I was wondering at to it's possible worh, Bronxville costing so much more because of the fine school system and different taxes. Don't be a wise ass.

These threads cross a line. They're an invasion of privacy. How would you like it if someone posted a picture of your house?

The guy who started the thread is new here. He's probably young and has good intentions. But you should know better. That's all I'm trying to say.

Re: Active mobsters houses. - 09/12/14 09:30 AM

I didn't post his house picture PB. I simply commented on it and said it was beautiful. What the Fuck is wrong with that. Do I have to ask you for permission before I post anything?

I have to agree with you PB it's definately crossing a line posting pictures of someone's home.

First house is pitiful for someone that has money. The second house looks like some 300 year old house with a new paint job. I can smell the inside from here.

Re: Active mobsters houses. - 09/12/14 09:48 AM

I'm kind of on the fence.

I mean I wouldn't post pictures of celebrities or sportspeople's homes but I don't feel an ounce of sympathy for people who don't work an honest day/make an honest dime in their lives and who extort, bully and harass people who want nothing more than to work and live honest lives.

I'm sure that is not the house that Crea/Porrello built. More the house that their victims built.

You never hear that in New York. In New York it's either a two family house or two story building, etc.

Re: Active mobsters houses. - 09/12/14 01:32 PM

guess its a new England thing. back in the days when the mills were the jobs, irish, itailian, ect with 8 kids had to buy them. mostly all have 3bedrooms 1bath each floor. going rate today is about 300k+ depends on location bigtime. pain in the ass if you own and have bad tenents. housing court fights+lawyers.
Posted By: Snakes

Re: Active mobsters houses. - 09/12/14 01:33 PM

It's kind of a gray area as addresses aren't legally protected; you can look up voter information and find someone's address. Google Maps is public domain and not private. It really gets down to whether or not you think it's morally, as opposed to legally, acceptable.

I personally don't have a problem with it but I can understand those that do.

So depending on the neighborhood, you can get a six bedroom house up there for 300 grand, pmac?

Am I reading you right?

Worcester springfield Lowell Brockton new Bedford yes you can get a 3decker under 300k that 3 floors/3 separate house each has 2 or 3 bedrooms celler and attic. the bitch is maitnence. 3 hotwater heater/boilers. thing is its hard to turn each floor into condo units?payoff your local pol.so you buy the whole thing and pray for good tenents or sec8 vouchers which all the old wasps do collect in the suburbs off there granddad riches. in the boston area forgot about it the rents for a first floor of a 3 decker goes for 1400+ a month. off strre parking. its a land grab. fellow new Englander lets pizza know. and fire gordell. big ben the rapist looked bad last night.

I actually got angry at the beginning of this thread because I thought it crossed a line of "good taste." But that anger was misplaced. Because this is the world we live in now. Everything is out there for everyone else to see. And the younger guys here grew up with the Internet and the Patriot Act and everything being a matter of public record, so it's not their fault.

Don't get me wrong, I still think most of you guys would get pissed off if people were ogling pictures of your homes. But wiseguys are in the public eye because they put themselves in the public eye. I'm mad at the way the world has changed in regards to privacy issues. I'm not mad at anyone in particular.

Ok, you want dead gangsters houses, then here's what i believe was the last home
of the ultimate gangster. Don Vitone.

Pretty modest house for a guy of his stature. Top photo is from his funeral
procession and the other is how it currently looks today in Atlantic Highlands NJ.
