John 'Sonny' Franzese's Crew ?

Who was in 'Sonny' Franzese's crew ?

Think was all his friends from long island. He might have been underboss but be was only a soldier from his release from prison1980 to 2000 seems like after wild bill got killed persico started using Sonny a lot more. He should have worked out a plea deal at his last trial so he could come out alive

Sonny had it as bad as anyone in the life.
I do not know when he was put up to skipper but don't matter cos he went right back to jail and lost his crew on many occasions.(did not keep it also cos the boss changed twice)in the time he was away.But way back he did do a lot with guys from the old country.I do not want to say he had a crew of them ,but they were with him.

He may have been a soldier but he had a crew of mixed nationalities that did a lot of work for him ,then they all flipped.

Then on top of it he went through 8 or 10 different bosses some that did not like him.And he was herd on wire i think talking about Michael (not bad ) but none the less,was herd...

Then his son puts him in jail. The only thing I think that did not happen to him was that ass Scarpa sr. did not rat on him cos he was away most of the time when Scarpa sr. was destroying that family from the inside out..

Scarpa did more damage then any one person in any family...

Sonny Franzese was made a captain in 1962, breaking off from Sally Mussacchio. Just like Joe Colombo. Both Colombo and Franzese were given some Mussacchio soldiers, but most of the Franzese and Colombo crew members were transfered from other crews. Many soldiers were shuffled around between different captains but these were under Franzese at some point in the 1960s. Most of them were assaigned to different captains in/by 1975:

The guys listed as associates and who were later made, weren´t necessarily put to be under Sonny.

In the 1970s, Michael Franzese was first put with Andy Russo but later transfered to be under his dad. (Michael was later given his own crew to run.) Also made in the 1970s and put under Sonny was "Little" Dom Cataldo and Carmine "Tutti" Franzese.

Sonny Franzese was demoted in 1984 to a soldier´s rank but made a captain again in the 1990s. In the 1990s and 2000s, these guys were often mentioned in various articles and indictments as being under Sonny (none of them were made though):

As you can see, Sonny Franzese had a large crew in the 1960s. Very likely his crew was the largest in the Colombo Family.

Hariy how many Carmines are there in the Franzese family ?

^^^ Sonny´s father´s name was Carmine. And his son (Micheal´s halfbrother) was also named Carmine. Those are the two I know of.

What about Ori spado I'm sure he was part of that crew as well.

There may be a grandson that is made with that name .
Not something i know ,something i herd..

Sonny does not have a brother with that name ?

I´m not familiar with Spado´s involvment with Franzese.
