Carmine little Eli zaccardi

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas who was responsible for zaccardis murder and why it happened , he was underboss of the Genovese family for about a year , all I really know is he was supposedly kidnapped by the westies ?? I take it tieri was involved in his murder ??
