Witness Protection Program ? - 07/30/14 03:55 AM

Who do you think doesn't need the Witness Protection Program anymore ? I say Philip Leonetti, Mickey Featherstone, and Dominick Montegio.

Re: Witness Protection Program ? - 07/30/14 04:15 AM

In my opinion none of them need it in this day and age , nothing really happens to rats anymore , the mob has realised killing is really bad for business , as long as they stay away from dealing and there r not bodies in the street every 2 mins the Feds pretty much let them earn , there r guys who have ratted who r still living in the open and nothing has happened to them

Who are these rats that are living in the open?
Sounds interesting

Re: Witness Protection Program ? - 07/30/14 09:52 AM

When a criminal turns state's witness and goes into the witness protection program, do they receive any benefits which may make them want to stay in the witness protection program?

1. Are they given a home and/or car?
2. Are they given money to start a business?
3. Are they given money to live on a weekly or monthly basis?
4. What kind of security protection are they given?
5. Do they get paid each time they testify in a court case? If not, do they receive some kind of reimbursement if their testimony makes them miss work?

Pisciotta, Paciello, Cicale, to name just a few of the most recent. Not to mention the fact that they knew where Gravano was and never hit him (even though it was talked about, but talk is cheap). Same goes for D'Arco. They've known his whereabouts in Florida forever.

It's like Dom said. There's no upside in hitting a guy after he flips. The Feds are letting them earn and keep the status quo right now. If they ever hit a high profile rat the government would turn it on like a water faucet. The smarter bosses know this.

I think as long as they don't flaunt it in their faces, by coming home. These guys are ok. Just stay away from New York. But also let's not forget Carbonaro and Mangavillano trying to whack Gravano in Arizona. Only guy that may have a target on his head IMO is Joe Massino and that's because he was a boss. Everybody else I think is safe to live a long and healthy life!

Bent Finger in Philly testifying in federal case against Uncle Joe and he hangs out at the shore still out in the open even Leonetti kept rolling back to AC when he was in the program but I think he might have had the best chance of being taken out in the early 90s, but he is still around

Michael Franzese tours the Country and is making movies. Ron Previte lives out in the open and Henry Hill was everywhere.

He's living in a downtown high-rise from what I've heard. He operates his gyms out in the open, and he couldn't care less who knows it.

After those videos of Cicale went viral, I asked around a little bit. He was on Buhre Avenue recently filming those Youtube videos, and he had lunch at one of the Irish pubs. And Vinny's family lives maybe a whole mile away. That piece of shit rolleyes .

Just goes to show that the fear and intimidation the mob used to wield with it's own is on the wane , it's only a matter of time before extortion victims start telling them to fuck off aswel

This is slightly off topic, but I think it's relevant here. But we get a lot of angry posters here who are always claiming that people shouldn't be posting this and people shouldn't be posting that. Here's my answer to them:

We're living in a day and age where the PEOPLE WHO TESTIFIED AGAINST THEM are walking the streets and laughing about it. Do you really think anyone gives a shit what's said on an obscure message board by an anonymous poster?

It's a different time. Things change. Simple as that.

Well, they did more than talk about hitting Gravano. They were stalking him in Arizona.

But they sent two morons to do the job, Sammy probably would have killed them both lol

Interesting about D'Arco. I don't think I ever heard anything about him being in Florida.

I wonder what kind of money he made off the book with Capeci.

Yes, you were misleading the public about your father, for you never stated that your DAD was in the MAFIA and he also killed people...
Don't assume how I feel, I live with remorse everyday. I AGREE, it's not cool to RAT but LOYALTY is a two way street. MY FORMER CRIME FAMILY BROKE THE CODE OF HONOR... I JUST PLAY CHESS... NOW I AM BACK TO HELP CHILDREN KNOW THE FACTS OF THE STREET LIFE... I AM NOT IN THE "WITNESS PROTECTION PROGRAM" PLACING MY LIFE ON THE LINE TO EDUCATE AND HOPEFULLY SAVE KIDS FROM THAT LIFE....

Come on PB, he is just trying to save kids from the life! hahahaha

His altruism is so sincere that I'm getting choked up. My eyes are honestly tearing. Or maybe that's just from the smell of bullshit permeating my laptop lol.

I think the program nowadays most likely caters to those who are not involved in the life and who are complete pussies. Most likely with families too

Exactly, the initail intent and violence of the mob at the start of this program is an excellent idea and probably extremely beneficial to hide people from the mexican drug cartels now but the wiseguys who rat just are not afraid anymore similar to posting whatever behind a screen....well said PB

That's a big part of it, GM.

Because the truth is---and some people won't like hearing this---some of the rats who are living out in the open are tougher than some of the guys left on the street. And I certainly don't mean mentally tougher. They are rats, after all.

And I don't mean all of them. There are some true tough guys left in the life. But if you send one of these kids who looks like Paulie from "Jersey Shore" after a guy like Paciello, what the fuck do you think is going to happen?

Now I don't know Paciello, and I hate what he did. Rats don't usually move me too much if they didn't hurt someone close to me, but he rubs me the wrong way. If that makes me a hypocrite, so be it.

But from what I've heard, Paciello can genuinely take care of himself. Aside from the fact that hitting rats brings too much heat, they'd have to send someone who's actually tougher than the target. And such guys are becoming fewer and farther between.

I agree PB. Paciello was a piece of shit, but he is the type of guy that you would need to shoot just to stop him. On top of that, he'd be hard to get to since he travels with an entourage.

Difficult...not impossible

He's living like a movie star at the Delano. Every inch of a joint like that is wired for sound and video because of the celebrity clientele that they cater to. Security in a billion dollar hotel is made up almost exclusively of ex-agents and other government employees. So it's honestly even more than just an entourage. Not that it matters. They're not going after that asshole.

No boss should be able to get into the program because they ordered the murders in the first place .

Re: Witness Protection Program ? - 07/31/14 07:46 PM

I would guess that a lot of these people are getting smart realizing that doing a "Hit" on a rat serves no other purpose than revenge, which in turn opens them up to the possibility of arrest and time in the big house- Not worth the risk. Still amazed that Paciello is living so well

Re: Witness Protection Program ? - 08/02/14 02:42 PM

Shows what a fibber he is. After convincing the Feds his life was "in danger" and having around the clock police protection in Ventnor, (during the trial) he now openly taunts those who hate him. I hope a crab crawls up his swim trunks.
