Well, I know that the organized crime in LA is fucking weak and I know all LA Crime Family history but I dunno what kind of business make the few mademans that the city have. Can someone say me what they do? I think they have interests in cinema industry.
Plenty of organized crime in LA, just not of the LCN variety. There are less than 10 made members of the LA family and about half of them don't even live in California anymore.
Tommy Gambino seems to be an entrepreneur of sorts. He has an upstart entertainment company called Royal Entertainment. I also remember him trying to patent a vodka or something. His name also came up in an ecstasy case back in 2001 but I don't think anything came of that.
Mike Esposito still runs Gentleman's Video, a small niche porn company in LA.
Lenny Montana owns Enzo's Pizzeria in LA.
Bobby Paduano still lives in California I think.
Louie Caruso lives in Phoenix where he runs Golden Air and Caruso Mechanical Services.
Russell Massetta now lives in Cleveland.
John Vaccaro lived in Las Vegas last I read.
Rocco Zangari moved back to Buffalo some years ago.
A few other guys who may not even be members include Paulo Rossi, a bookie and tattoo shop owner. "Sports Bar Mike" Russo, a bookie who Kenji said worked with the family but was not a part of it. And James Testa, who Kenji said was made though possibly not with the LA family.
I know a little bit about L.A. but since they are very tight knit, they don't speak to many outsiders. Tomasso runs things over their, he consolidated his power after the old man croaked in 2012. People were worried of bodies being left in the streets but with the help of his father and uncles he has taken the top seat. Has whipped that crew into shape and maybe a few guys have gotten their buttons.
You know you haven't made a single post that hasn't said "bodies left in the street." There would never be "bodies in the street" from the LA and New Orleans families

I had some time on my hands, and wow Nicky, you're right. I reviewed this durkadickas posts and be says it in almost every frigging post. What the hell is wrong with him?
So they control only a few legitimate businesses and probably have influence in narcotics. What about bets, prostitution rings, extortion? Have they a boss in LA? Only soldiers operate in LA? Have a complete crew? I believe than not but please, let me see what do you think.
Is it true that New York call them the Mickey Mouse Mafia.
I hope so, that's even better than the Farmers for NJ.
It was LAPD's police Chief that first called them that back in 1984 I think. Many, many sources misattributed the term as originating between the 1940s and 1960s.
