Jack Tocco, longtime Detroit boss, dead at 87

Anyone know if he was still active? 30 odd years in the big seat and not much information on him, low key to say the least.

At his age i'm guessing he was semi-retired. He may have still advised and counselled the younger guys. I'm just speculating though.

The attached article at the first of the thread says that Tucco's ceremony for being made boss was photographed by the FBI. Has anyone seen these photos?
