Joey massino - 07/14/14 01:14 PM

Was wondering why the Feds didn't get more info off Joey massino ?? The guy was practically the boss of bosses wen he was on the street as he was the only official boss not in jail , I thought they would have been a hell of a lot more indictments ??

Wouldn't be hard to spot him, he's within a 30 second drive to a Dunkin Donuts or McDonalds wherever he is. He really stuck it up Bascianos ass.

He's been outed.. I don't know if it's the right thing to out his location publically , but he's out west. His looks are so distinct that he'd be tough to hide.

He's doing a Jenny Craig commercial with Marie Osmond. I heard he may even sing.

He is easy to spot out. And this day with iphones i thought someone would snap a pic and post it but if hes out west or northwest no one would have a clue. Could be sick in a rest home. But he must look in the mirror and just hatehimself. He probaly inducted 200 guys in his role as underboss then boss telling them all thag omerta bs.

If he didn't look in the mirror and hate himself for being a cold blooded murderer ten times over, what makes you think he hates himself now?

He's a sociopath, just like almost all the rest of them. He ain't losing a wink of sleep over this shit.

Re: Joey massino - 07/15/14 01:09 PM

Seriously, whose idea was it to free him after 10 years? The initial deal was "life sentence instead of death penalty" in exchange for information. So he flipped and got life. Why change the deal again after 10 years? Maybe he simply paid the parole board, i really can't think of another explanation, considering the fact he didn't tell anything new after those 10 years.

It was never going to be life, Dwalin. The Judge and the DA have to say that you can receive "up to life imprisonment." That's just the wording they us. Behind closed doors, I'm sure it was always ten years.

He was never getting the death penalty, and neither was Vinny, for that matter. An American mobster hasn't gotten the death penalty in over fifty years. It's a big waste of money. Especially Vinny's last trial. They were never getting a New York jury to vote for the death penalty. No way no how.

He was allowed to keep millions of dollars he had accumulated over the years, so paying off someone is probably what he did. There is no other explanation.

Re: Joey massino - 07/17/14 04:53 AM

I knew Massino wouldn't stand back in the 90's before he even got pinched. He wasn't a real street guy. It is though him becoming a rat that saved the family almost because if he did take life and not squeal bodies would of been left in the street no doubt about that. Vinny and his crew were doing people in left and right, they were going after the prosecutors and even Nose because they thought he would try to take the reigns. Vinny only did all of this for his boss and when he learned he was wired for sound it broke his heart.
