And to be honest (and I'm not trying to start an International incident over this ), the crime docs about New York that are made by Brits are usually the most corny. The phony dialogue alone makes me fucking cringe.

The Brit DeMeo doc was pretty bad recreation-wise, but I did like the interview with the cop they got for it.

He was tied to 5 murders, and was turned down by courts when he wanted DNA tests to appeal two of the convictions. The trailer says he was tied to 60 murders, which is a giant exaggeration on their part.

was he convicted of killing gottis old fbi friend willie boy. if so who put him at the murder. think he was convicted before samy flipped. I read somewhere he was made in 1986 or 1987 funny gotti with his big Gambino family got made guys in other familys to do hits for him. the decav guys killing the trash guy, oreana guys killed one of there guys who pissed off gotti, the bonanno kid who screwed up and shot the Gambino capo kid during the gus farace thing. lot of guys wanted to make brownie points with gotti and got time with it.

Pitera was a pretty fit guy, so I'd imagine it'd be hard to find someone who looks like him. And Ray Liotta as DeMeo?!?

I think Crime Inc made in the 80s is good, one of the best made about the American mafia.

tenth and wolf was a decent film if I'm honest , although they tried to base it on joey merlino and the philadelphia mob, i think it was more a fictional story about what happens after a crime family dies off.

I think it put Joe Dente in the movie business and forged a friendship between the two Joes that lasted until Dente died .

It is a small world I met both Pesce and cortese at different time.

Pesce told me when they were making the movie he had a fist fight with cortese. Normally cortese should have kick his ass in a fight. He was much bigger then Pesce. Pesce said he was kicking the shit out of him before people stopped it.

I never mentioned to cortese what's was the point. Cortese was a good guy.

Then I posted about it some where. Cortese read it and said it never happened. He did not know it was me who posted it. Then someone who work on the set said it was true

I agree that this COULD be a good movie, but not based off of Carlo's book. Didn't Carlo hate the guy and embellished A LOT in his book to make Tommy look bad? It will just be off, and nowhere near the truth....but then again, so was Goodfellas...kind of...

Pitera just turned him down on working with him, which Carlo didn't like he was claiming to be innocent

The Feds will offer deals to anyone who can effectively help dismantle OC. Look at Massino, Gravano etc.

Keep in mind the Feds cant sentence a defendant, all they can do is write a recommendation (302) stating assistance and requesting leniency from the Judge.

Was thinking same thing, Gravano got a sweet deal anyway u look at it, but pitera crimes seemed more horrific
