Lansky was never part of the Commission in any shape or form.
Lansky was never
OFFICIALLY part of the commission.
Lansky lost most of his influence once Lucky went away and lost what little he had left when Costello retired. He still had some allies (Vincent Alo in particular) but he was no longer any type of major underworld power, despite what the media said and still says.
I don't know if I agree with you on this.
If your assertion above is true about Lansky losing
most of his influence once Lucky went away, then how do you explain Lansky's ability to engineer a deal (almost 6 years after Luciano went away) with the US government to have Lucky released from prison?
