Nicky Scarfo sr - 03/17/14 03:24 PM

We all know he lived in AC.. However, he obviously spent a lot of time in Philly.
1) did he have a social club in Philly?
2) did he stay at a house or apartment in Philly?

He use to stay at house that belonged to the Testa's I believe it was in Salvie's name. Salvie was a big shot Realtor back then. I'm sure he had a women on the side he paid to stay at a place and quaff his hair for him every morning...

That's why I was wondering how many he killed himself instead of getting others to do it. He must have built up a reputation when he was younger

Thanks. That was a good laugh. We all could do more of that.

Just pokin some fun at your expense which I apologize for but you do it to yourself. I mean c'mon. You're a caricature. Which isn't necessarily a negative. Every forum needs a few. But you have to know that right? I obviously only mean this when you are sober. I mean who doesn't go to the bar and get drunk with there buddies and post fictional stories? You see where I'm going with this right?

We both know we will never meet so ill save the tough guy stuff.

When he was running things every social club in Philly was his - not just one - there were a bunch back then and a few today.
He had that baseball sign in the scarf inc office on Georgia ave .. Not sure how many he pulled the trigger on - not more than 5 I don't think but I could be wrong.

I am the boss of my own family.

Me and my crew loan money to other kids to buy candy and then charge them exorbitant interest rates and if they can't pay...... we give them atomic wedgies.

It's called The Scorpio Method.

We also run a bookmaking scam where we take bets on who will win playground fights at lunch.

Re: Nicky Scarfo sr - 03/18/14 12:40 AM

Why is that everytime someone on here says they know people in the life everyone automatically discredit them and don't believe them. Yes, you can make stuff up...Sure but I don't think people like Serpiente, Joerusso and sometimes even TheArm would go all that way to lie on a stupid gangster forum..Doesn't make that much sense especially with the details they throw in.

Yes, there is no real hard proof they give but does it really make sense to make up ALL those details, it would take a good amount of energy that is really unnecessary and its a good chance even if one person did that there wouldn't be more than one.

Serpiente I got a question for you. Where did Scarfo stay down the shore? It was public knowledge so it shouldn't be a hard one to answer. I check here every so often to see if it is mentioned. Have not seen it mentioned yet but I know a couple people that have houses down the shore and they know. It may be a fairy tale but I have heard at least ten people say it.

Hey I tell you one thing not to get off topic but I dont have to lie about where I am from, who I am related to, who I know, and etc. Not for no damn thread and I am not going to be rewarded whatsoever or being looked at some guru about family business, Whatever I say is first hand knowledge, something a creditable person told me mostly old timers and connected guys and something that has been floating around for years. With that said beleive it or not but I am who am from where I am from and quite frankly you believe it or not I really dont care, but the issues I speak upon is as real as it gets. Straight from the North End of Boston Litlle Italy !!!

Re: Nicky Scarfo sr - 03/18/14 08:14 AM

He stabbed the longshoreman to death with a butter knife (spur of the moment), he stabbed another guy to death with a ice pick (set him up) and according to Leonetti he also killed another guy with a knife and cut his balls off. Is that hands on enough?

Re: Nicky Scarfo sr - 03/18/14 08:26 AM

Why would he cut the guys balls off then kill him? Might as well just kill him if he isn't going to suffer for that long. Pretty gross to touch another dudes balls in the first place.

I don't remember the exact details but I think Leonetti says in Mafia Prince that Nicky and his mentor had some type of disagreement with a vendor and they brutally carved him up and even cut his balls off.

Yeah the baseball sign in Scarf Inc. supposedly had a picture of the baserunner missing a base on a homerun. The message was you have to touch base or all the bases.

well, one think is for sure. the guy [scarfo} took philly down. how can there be any honor in that, they could have been a rich family today if they would have had a boss who could reason, and think. snake persico is the same way, take the family down with you, run it from prison. are their any bosses out there with any brains.

I hate how these guys get a break and all these perks for cooperating compared to someone who wan't a career criminal fucked up once and so then their life is ruined unless they can get it expunged or a governor's pardon.

red, my feeling exactly, that's why I had such a distaste for henry hill, making money off a book for being a rat. that's all he ever was, nothing but a punk ass stoolie.

Re: Nicky Scarfo sr - 09/21/14 01:54 PM

Can anyone break down the meaning behind the picture of the runner missing home base? I obviously understand that you have to touch all bases for the run to count. I want a more detailed meaning behind it if there is one.

Re: Nicky Scarfo sr - 09/21/14 02:44 PM

The admitted former mob soldier said the inspiration for his wall decoration was a phrase Scarfo used frequently: "Touch all bases."

Caramandi said he got copies of two illustrations he saw in Scarfo's office in Atlantic City and hung them on the clubhouse wall.

"One illustration was entitled, "This is not a home run," and showed a baseball player rounding the bases but failing to touch first. The other illustration, entitled, "This is a home run," showed the baseball player rounding the bases and touching all of them.

To Caramandi, the illustrations symbolized the importance of "telling your capos what you are doing at all times."

Caramandi said he hung the illustrations as a reminder for others "on how we do business - touch base all the time."
