Butch Blasi is the one mentioned most often. Others include Tony Spilotro and Chuckie English. My guess would be Blasi. Chuckie English remained loyal to Giancana and may have been killed for his loyalty.

Lots of strange goings-on relative to Giancana's murder. Some people maintain that Santo Trafficante had Giancana killed because of his knowledge of the Kennedy Assassination. Johnny Roselli was murdered about a year later for presumably the same reason.

I doubt that Trafficante had the pull to whack Giancana. The orders definitely came from Accardo and Aiuppa, and possibly higher up. It's telling how Giancana and Roselli were involved with the CIA and both ended up dead in 1975 and 1976

Yeah, I read that some time ago and was again reminded of Auippa's willingness to kill anyone who might be a risk to himself or The Outfit. Quick on the trigger.

Thanks

I have some old newspaper articles about Giancana's murder if anyone is interested. They all say basically the same thing.

There's also lots of info about events leading up to his murder. Some pretty good stories.

Some of these focus more on the reasons Gianacana was killed than on who killed him.

I apologize but you will have to copy and paste. Please let me know if this opens.

The sex tape of the Kennedy bros tag teaming momos girl never came out this week after the auction. That probably played in his murder. Momo was dicking down m. Monroe good for him but when his old ass had her on his arm she sneak off with the Irish boys and get teamed.

Fosco has an article about who the killers were on his American News Post..

As I stated in an earlier post, the most frequently mentioned name as the murderer of Giancana is Butch Blasi. Listed below is a summary of what happened when Giancana returned to Chicago. The article appears to be accurate.

Hope it opens.

Honestly they were all involved in weird permiscuous escapades & sexual deviancy. I wouldn't be surprised if Mooney was in on it half the time with the Kennedy bros.

For being such a beacon/symbol for feminism, Marilyn Monroe was a real submissive whore.

In the Family Secrets book, Calabrese said that it was Accardo that killed Giancana and that his brother built the gun that was used. It is in back of the book in the section of information that he reveled but they could not use in court.

Re: Giancana Killers - 03/11/14 09:30 PM

Accardo didn't personally kill Giancana. He conspired with Aiuppa and Cerone to have him killed. Butch Blasi more than likely pulled the trigger.

Re: Giancana Killers - 03/11/14 09:37 PM

You may be talking about Accardo giving his ok for the hit. There are lots of theories about the decision to hit Giancana; some authorities say Accardo was the last to agree.

There are reports that suggest Accardo extended an invitation to Giancana to have a "sit-down." Giancana, suspecting a trap, responded by telling Accardo to "go to hell." I don't know how anyone would know these things, so it may or may not be true.

My sources are the numerous articles on the Internet, books, emails and telephone conversations with Outfit historians and authors in Chicago.

Re: Giancana Killers - 03/11/14 10:01 PM

From the Family Secrets book;

"Nick told the FBI he knew that Anthony Accardo had been part of the killing and the Angelo LaPietra had disposed of the gun. The weapon used to shoot Giancana was equipped with a silencer that Frank Sr. and Ronnie Jarrett had made, Nick said"

This section of the book talks about unsolved murders that Nick gave information on but could not be part of the trial.

Re: Giancana Killers - 03/11/14 10:17 PM

I don't believe Accarodo or Auippa had any "hands-on" involvement with the murder. I firmly believe each played a part relative to giving the ok. None of these top echelon guys would do the actual killing because they had others do it for them. The general feeling is that someone very close to Giancsna was responsible for the murder.

The .22 caliber semi-automatic was found some distance from Giancana's home on a route that the suspected killer would have taken on his way home. I believe the gun was traced to some place in Florida.

LaPietra good very well have been responsible for disposing of the gun, but there is simply no way to know for sure. All the "players" are dead and all we're left with are inferences and opinions, Including mine.

Re: Giancana Killers - 04/18/14 09:08 PM

I think it was found in a place where Blasi would have passed to go home. I'm pretty sure I read that somewhere.
