Merlino parole ending

Merlino parole ending - 02/26/14 09:22 AM

What day does it end for those who know cause I know it ends next month.

Also let's get one thing clear that Joey's most likely not retiring from the mob since he went through too much shit to get to the top, including the death of his friend and some other guy ratting him out, if he stays in Florida past his parole it means he's keeping a low profile until the heat wears off and the only way we'll know is if he makes a movie and jail has made one thing clear about him, it has made him wise.

Re: Merlino parole ending - 02/26/14 06:28 PM

If I was him, I would wait until the day after his supervised parole is over and get everyone together for dinner. Stevie, Uncle Joe, every made guy and anyone not on parole and/or probation and have a big dinner is South Philly....

It's not against the law and would be a nice FU to the FBI...

Re: Merlino parole ending - 02/26/14 06:46 PM

Yea I can't wait to see what happens with Philly LCN. Now that Joey will be completely free from the grip of the government in less than a month. Uncle Joe and Georgie beat the indictments. The most suitable people for the hierarchy of the family are all out on the streets. Whoever takes the leadership roles in the family must avoid the Feds at all cost. Because you no and I no that they(Feds) will be watching.

They should take it back to the Bruno era and start making their money quiet and unnoticed since they already have a microscope on them. Very exciting time for the family I'm sure.

Re: Merlino parole ending - 02/26/14 06:55 PM

If I was uncle Joe, I would take the consigliere gig, go into semi-retirement in Florida. The feds take losing cases like personal insults, so you can guarantee they will put the microscope on Joe.

Plus I wouldn't want anything to do with putting my name with the acts of Joey or Georgie, both guys that seem anything but low-key.

Re: Merlino parole ending - 02/26/14 06:56 PM

I actually think UJ tried to take it back to Bruno and did a decent job for this day in age. But at this point I think they need to move to how NY is doing it these days. I would just have Stevie, Johnie, Lance as Capos who work as a panel along with Uncle Joe being semi retired Consig like position. I dont know about Joey or what he plans to do but I think the best thing for him and the Philly mob is to stay in Florida.

The Feds can use it to support a RICO conspiracy.

Long-time lurker, first-time poster! Were the photos from Stainos wedding brought in to Joes trial? If so, they would love to get a photo of Merlino canoodling with the guys when he's back in town

Joey only knows one and thats the criminal life. He did his time and hes ready to get his hands around this thing. Hes a shifty guy who has learned from the past. Bet he won't be talking to too many people out there and will be very cognizant of wires.

Re: Merlino parole ending - 02/28/14 01:43 AM

I would put $ on it that he comes back to philly.. Like I said I find it kind of strange timing wise that the house his wife and daughters live in ocean township nj was put up for sale like 2 months ago. What are the chances his family is moving right around the time he is off restrictions?
I think its weird how everyone says he's going to just stay in boca.. By himself.. I can't see him or anyone for that matter living in a different state than they're wife and children.

Re: Merlino parole ending - 02/28/14 02:39 AM

Joey was in the right place, but wrong time before! This time he's older, wiser and has had time to scheme in the joint!

Joey is not coming back to philly nor south jersey.

Maybe he is planning on moving with his wife to a different state once his parole restrictions are up?

Correct.

Joey returning to Philly to run things is a pipe dream.
Let it go.
Posted By: dsbaloo

Re: Merlino parole ending - 02/28/14 06:08 AM

I just don't see how he can stay out of state and still keep running things forever..who knows,I just feel like after a while people would start to resent the fact that they're kicking up all their $ to someone who's sitting out of harms way in another state while everyone else is out doing the grunt work.yet I don't know shit about him or philly.. He could be moving his wife down to florida for all I know and continue to stay away from everything. It would be smart if he stayed away but I guess we will see.. He's obviously still getting a piece, he lives well and just went on vacation to some fucking tropical island with his wife.. Was driving a ferarri around the shore a few months ago.. I doubt he's working a 9 to 5 busting his ass so the money must be coming from somewhere.

If I was Joey Merlino I'll stay retired, and move on with my life because there too many 'rats' in the 'life' these days. Sometimes you need to quit while your ahead .

Guys like joey Merlino don't retire and fade away , it's not in his DNA

I honestly dont know where you guys get this stuff from.

Joey wont be coming back.

1) Joey has given ZERO indication he's ever coming back to Jersey. You guys know something he doesnt?

2)These guys arent rocket scientists but even Merlino knows if he returns he has ZERO, and I mean ZERO chance of him not ending in a cage.
He returns he has maybe 3-5 on the street before its goodnight. Because we all know the Feds LOVE someone who thumbs their nose at them (think Gotti).
And this with the Feds on his EVERY.

3) This comapred to living off his rep, getting a few investors into a few clubs/bars in FLA etc etc.

Now noone excpet the man himself knows what he will do but based on the above which I think we can all universally accept, what do you think?

Personally I think the answer is pretty obvious.

Re: Merlino parole ending - 02/28/14 08:58 AM

Like u said nobody knows apart from the man himself , its pointless wasting time and energy speculating

Re: Merlino parole ending - 02/28/14 11:19 AM

Merlino is hanging out with mobsters in florida, you think he's going to stop when his parole is done? Even when he talked about nick skins trying to incriminate him he said "I don't talk about certain things to people I don't know" read between the lines
Posted By: domwoods74

Re: Merlino parole ending - 02/28/14 12:36 PM

I agree with u , someone like Merlino doesn't just retire , he will be involved on some level , his guys r running the Philly mob and have always answered to him, unless the narduccis make a play for the top job things will carry on as they r , Merlino might just be a little bit more low key

Re: Merlino parole ending - 02/28/14 09:53 PM

You guys always forget to give the wife credit. She is a very smart woman, she prob took the father of her kids with her on a well deserved vacation (better Joe than that fat OCD rat Ron Previte...who is sooo unattractive look wise). As far as where they live.. depends on where the kids want to go to school, they aren't going to stay in Jersey after high school. If I was the parents I'd get small place in Boca and a small place in South Philly or Penn's landing.. catch last few months of hockey season, don't get too worked up about a lambo.. anyone can rent those for the weekend.. too expensive insurance-wise to actually own the car. I'd rather be a house husband and live off the Jew brother in law than go back to a life of hustling for dollars with the blacks, Puerto Ricans and Hispanics...

Re: Merlino parole ending - 02/28/14 10:28 PM

i assume youre referring to joeys sister marias husband when your stated "be a house husband and live off the jew brother in law".... what exactly does marias husband do for a living? I know they have a ton of money, saw their house in some modern home magazine.. they live in Malibu ca.. im assuming maria makes her husband give money to joey and his family..
and youre right once the girls are done with high school joey and deb will probably move to boca or something .

Hi Dsbaloo. Maria's (Nick Moss) husband started a company called Mueller Industries. It is a plumbing supply company that provides HVAC piping and other plumbing supplies for commercial and residential customers. My hotel is actually a customer of his company. For those who do not know Malibu in my opinion is the most beautiful and high end place to live in the US aside from parts of NYC. Malibu makes people in Beverly Hills look like peasant beggars. Here is their website. http://www.muellerindustries.com/

I don't know if I'd go that far to say that about Beverly Hills, etc etc but it is a nice place..There are some nice houses but when I drove through the entire area I didn't see any super mansions or anything.

Re: Merlino parole ending - 03/01/14 08:56 PM

Is Merlino divorced? His wife is never with him, very strange.
Posted By: DelcoNostra

Re: Merlino parole ending - 03/01/14 09:40 PM

He is not divorced. While he has been in Florida, his wife and kids have still been living up north while they finish school. This is one of the excuses I think he is goig to use to come back up to Philly. Then once he's up here he is going to dive in head first and get back on the game. All this talk about philly having the heavy hitters back on the street is true but no matter how many guys you have and the quality of those guys doesn't mean anything when all you have to work with is some sports books and loansharking to satisfy everyone. Even shakedowns are hard to come by in this day and age. And dsbaloo, just out of curiosity what makes you think Joeys sister is making her husband give her brother money?
Posted By: dsbaloo

Re: Merlino parole ending - 03/01/14 10:42 PM

I wasn't really claiming that his brother in law was giving him $... paprincess made a comment about it and I was more just asking if they did send him any $ since theyre loaded.
like I said its obvious hes still getting his share of $ sent his way hes living well, just took his wife to the Bahamas..
im kind of surprised the feds aren't up his ass about where his money is coming from.. like I said I don't know shit about him really but im sure hes not working a 9 to 5 yet still has money to live nice and lounge around and do whatever he wants.

Re: Merlino parole ending - 03/02/14 12:25 AM

Ahh gotcha I didn't see princesses post. Is Maria the sister who was engaged to Salvie? And I agree too, you would think the Feds would take up the chance to pinch him over some type of tax evasion. If he's getting an envelop every month, he either has some good laundering plans set up or it's in the mattress piling up!
Posted By: Gingello101182

Re: Merlino parole ending - 03/02/14 12:41 AM

Hi Delco. Maria is the one that was engaged to Salvie.

Hey Extortion I know what you mean about there not being many really large houses in Malibu. However, these houses are actually petty large inside. Also I think people mostly pay for the location in Malibu. Many people own houses in Beverly Hills and a house in Malibu. Sort of like how some people really rich people in NYC own homes in the Hamptons as well. Malibu is like the Hamptons of the West Coast. That is a better analogy.
Posted By: dsbaloo

Re: Merlino parole ending - 03/02/14 12:52 AM

yeah maria was the sister who was engaged to salvie.. the other sister Natalie is dating the joey bonafiglio kid or however you spell it..
im curious as to how much money philly is really pulling in.. seems like the average guy is pulling in minimum wage. you think with their connections and being hungry to earn that they would come up with some good schemes to get stuff coming in besides the bookmaking and shy..
shit.. I think anyone can earn as long as they have access to the start up cash it takes to make the first moves..

as for Malibu... pretty much every elitist in los angeles has a home there.. especially all the A list actors. have a friend who is an out of control trust fund baby he lives in the Malibu colony, house isn't that big but location is what makes it.. think the lot with no house cost him like 6 mill.. neighbors are steven spielberg and Pamela Anderson.

you would resent a guy who spent half his life in prison and never opened his mouth and opened the door for what you are doing now? He put in just as much work and time as all these guys you are in position today. I'm sure the feds are all over his finances. You people see a few pics on instagram and all of a sudden you know everything. His wife is far from broke and he was alot of friends and family all over ever think it was someone elses car he was supposedly driving? Only accurate thing you said so far is that you dont know shit about Philly or him.
Posted By: dsbaloo

Re: Merlino parole ending - 03/02/14 05:36 PM

I never said the car was his.. It obviously wasn't.. would really hope no one in his position would ever buy a car like that and drive it around.
and sorry but I never said his wife is poor.. settle down buddy.
