No offense Lilo but the guys that comment on that site are a bunch of jerkoffs.

Re: Georgie Borgesi - 02/19/14 02:06 AM

I guess it's possible, ligambi only became the boss because merlin o's faction went to jail, now that the fellas is out who knows

Re: Georgie Borgesi - 02/19/14 02:29 AM

second dellacroce on those posters. Sound like some trouble makers on there for the most part. I'm surprised that GA allows comments - not sure what good it does and I'm sure he doesn't want to babysit all the nonsense. That said I'm not sure what to believe out of that - Stevie would seem like the type that would run a good ship and take care of his guys or if Georgie wanted the top seat maybe Stevie would hand it over and be under. Would anyone argue that Uncle Joe is now on the shelf and counting his lucky stars? Their friend down in Florida would also need to have a say I would think .. From what I've read on here it sounds like he comes over probation soon and will be allowed to return to Philly at least for a trip. Maybe they get it straightened out then. Now that football is over they are probably waiting for march madness.

Re: Georgie Borgesi - 02/19/14 03:02 AM

Either way, after ligaments retire George will be the next boss, it's either now or later

Re: Georgie Borgesi - 02/19/14 03:35 AM

Ridiculous. George is on supervised no way.

Re: Georgie Borgesi - 02/19/14 03:50 AM

Please dont listen to anything on Big Trial. They say everyone is a rat. In regards to details on a murder, dont forget Vella ratted and gave every detail to that situation. The 2 biggest rats, Bent Dick Finger and John John are the ones who post on there to stir the pot.

Re: Georgie Borgesi - 02/19/14 04:14 AM

By all accounts John John is the poster trying to scare the guys. He was a tough guy for his 15 but now is in witness protection and calling wives of made guys threatening them on the phone. Big deal if he comes around once a year to shovel snow.

Re: Georgie Borgesi - 02/19/14 12:21 PM

George Borgesi as boss? Like that family dont have enough problems already. I believe Georgie is capable of being high up in the administration but like uncle junior said in the Sopranos, "he never had the makings of a varsity athlete " .. And On top of all that George has the supervised release . I think Mazzone has been doing a great job but might be a good idea for Mazzone to back off for a while so he isnt the lightning rod. Stevie seems ALOT smarter then the rest of the young guys.

Re: Georgie Borgesi - 02/19/14 12:36 PM

The only way Borgesi becomes acting boss if LIgambi retires and the rest of the Captains want Borgesi as the lightning rod, that would be foolish though. He'll get them all jailed, he's got a big mouth and has TERRIBLE judgment. I'd give him a year or two before he gets pinched again.

He's probably not even top 5 anyway.

Ligambi
Mazzone
Chang
Lance
Narducci

Half the comments on bigtrial are obviously veasey

@ handsome steavie, you think may zone is a good boss, who was responsible for that nice demo botched hit???

Re: Georgie Borgesi - 02/20/14 05:38 AM

I don't think Borgesi would even want to become boss. He got teased with a release date for 3 years. Remember is reaction when the final verdict came in? One reporter said he looked so relieved. He even thanked each jury member when they left the courthouse.

I think the acting boss job is still Ligambi's if he wants it. Of course none of this really matters if Merlino plans on returning when his parole is up.

Re: Georgie Borgesi - 02/20/14 08:03 AM

Yeah I used to think the same thing when and if Borgesi got out he was going to take care of business and ask questions later. It almost seems like he lost a little bit of the ''fight''in him.Who wouldn't after all that time.I wouldn't go as far to say he is a completely different person, but maybe he will think things through in the future instead of going off half-cocked.It's just not worth it.I mean if he spits the feds will be there before it hits the ground.

Re: Georgie Borgesi - 02/21/14 10:46 PM

after all the people he killed if he has a book everyone gonna pay. for all merlino guys murders they beat them all. wonder why they killed that old soldier felix b. he was like 70+ and it said was close to the older merlino, gues he was shacking guy down and they got mad. think George did that one other then thi nicodemo shit, there small family notorious. not to be fucked with, scarfo jr would be in for a fight today to take over maybe not 7 yrs ago. I don't even think any of the luchese crew would have helped him whats in it for them.

Re: Georgie Borgesi - 02/22/14 12:37 AM

Yes they acted fast,to avenge the Baldino hit they hit Stanfa's nephew while he was walking in the northeast. The guy's name was Zagone,he wasn't even a player. Then you had Turra right in front of his house before heading to court.Felix Bochinno was one of the first casualities in the war.I think that was territorial, collecting street tax in the wrong area. They were brazen, that's for sure.

You heard me. He can be as tough as he wants but all that equates to is being a street thug. He's a moron, where as the names i mentioned are all quite low key and smart.

A little off hand but what kinds of rackets are going on with the philly mob today, is it mostly just gambiling etc. And are all these big guys are they still involved really with all the heat that's been on them?

Gambling, loansharking, and poker machines

Re: Georgie Borgesi - 02/22/14 05:08 PM

@overcoat

Nicky explained the rackets there involved in, the Philly guys really don't make big money anymore apart from a handful like Mazzone, Ligambi, Chang, Staino, Nicodemo was a big money maker apparently before he got pinched, I've heard a lot of people talking highly of young Dom grande too, he's only 33 or something like that, got made a few years back and he's a money maker.

Pretty much all the big players over the last 10-20 years are active, apart from Merlino.
