Most feared mob hit men

We have all heard about feared killers in the mob , Roy demeo , Greg scarpa tommy pitera and the like . Who in your opinion is the most feared mob hit men of all time . A few spring to mind . John Sullivan fat tony salerno's main hitman joe and dog Sullivan to name a few

With so many sadistic psychos to pick from,this is a tough one. Off the top of my head,I would go with the old Chicago guys like Mad Sam DeStefano,Willie Daddano,and Fifi Buccieri.

Not only were they efficient,but they didn't always give their victims a quick one behind the ear.

Daddano in particular would subject his men to polygraphs if he suspected any disloyalty or snitching. If they failed,he would torture and kill them on the spot.

Most feared in Chicago?

I would guess Schweihs and Aleman.

While others were probably just as feared they weren't just hitmen. The two guys I listed's primary capacity was killing people.

But if you want to include people who did other things for the mob, I would say, from what I know, also Spilotro and Stefano.

Interestingly in an interview Aleman once said that the scariest guys he knew... no one knows. They did not, he said, have their names in the papers.

Well after the "Action" Jackson murder, I would think Spilotro would have to rank right up there at the top in terms of sheer perversity and sadism. Although you have to give Gaspipe his due for the Hydell execution.

That's what I thought of when I read the subject-line. Not for nothing a quote from Fifi describing that murder is in the preface of the Excorsist novel.

Giuseppe "Pino" Greco enough said

During the Second Mafia War from 1981 until 1983, orchestrated by the Corleonesi, Giuseppe Greco carried out dozens of murders, often with his favourite weapon, an AK-47. He was eventually convicted in absentia of 58 murders, most of them committed during the early 1980s, but it is believed he committed at least 80 murders in total[2] and possibly as many as 300.

Amongst those he gunned down are Stefano Bontade, Salvatore Inzerillo, Pio La Torre and Carabinieri General Carlo Alberto Dalla Chiesa. He even murdered Inzerillo's fifteen-year-old son after the youth vowed to avenge his dead father. Greco is rumoured to have chopped the boy's arm off before killing him and dissolving his corpse in acid.

I'd say Giuseppe Greco based on the numbers he has killed and Salvatore Testa because he was schooled by his father, a former boss and he was fearless.

Tommy shots and his crew he killed a nun wild bill who was consider a men bastard and they killed the cop. Say wat you want about the Colombos but rite up to 2008 that was one scary crew of shooters n murders. You pay there loan back or gamble money.
