Ron Miceli Genovese

anybody know anything about him?

He was involved in some fraudulent transactions using pension funds back in the early nineties. Basically, Miceli and Jimmy Messera, who were both with the Genovese, got together with the Mason Tenders union president to have mob connected real estate appraisers value land/buildings at exaggerated prices and then, after securing a loan for said amount from the pension fund, purchase the buildings for the actual worth, which was often less than half of the phony "appraised" value, kicking back any excess funds generated from the pension fund loans.

They were eventually caught, and I believe served their sentences and are out of prison. As far as I know, Messera still has a crew. I don't know what Miceli is up to now.

I got the book by vinny terresa my life in the mafia which is the first mob book were the rat makes himself bigger then the world and all the guys who never liked him bums pimps and drunks. He says mecili was under joe paterno .and they were the top assassination squads. They came to n.e. And whacked alot of guys. Book is alot of bs but some truths. He had it rite in 73 the feds locked up the rong guys limone ect. How barboza lied alot

Pmac gave you totally wrong info and is talking about another Ron Miceli from the wrong era. The guy he was talking about was a hit man for an entirely different family! I did not appreciate his post but understand it was purely ignorance or lack of knowledge on the Subject which was Ron Miceli GENOVESE!!
