It has been so long since i paid any attention to any LCN stuff,But i had a surgery a few months back and it forced me onto the internet and i know people in the life but never thought that there would be a site like this,i guess what i am saying is like x NFL players don't follow football when they are out of it.So having said that this guy was made in 1990 i know him,he did not spend his time in north jeresy back in 1978 till 1984 don't hold me to the dates because things get fuzzy,but he had a pool hall on Artic ave. in Atlantic city back then.you could see it from Nicks office,but anyway he booked and kicked to Nick ,does any one know what he did from say 1984 till 1990 ? or to now ?

He had a bar on bloomfeild ave since the 80s. Book, numbers, anything gambling. I think he came up under specs or blackie napoli as an associate, but from what i know he wasnt actually from down neck, hes from forest hills or somewhere i think. Shylocking and such came later, hes also notoriously cheap. As far as i know hes still got a lot of money but i read the transcripts of scoops saying he couldnt get any money from him.... He could be broke, but my opinion that remark just goes back to him being a tight wad. Also, there could be animosity between him and scoops. They both came up together, and neither really has a leg up on the other. Both have never done work and are basically career bookmakers. Beeps was official captain of that crew before he got replaced by scoops. Could go back to the fact that hes too cheap to give a full kick. Just my thoughts tho

Thanks skinny ,the beeps back in the day , when he was trying to hang around was given the ok from nicky to open the pool hall right across the street from Mucks a different pool hall, Muck would not kick up ,that took balls but Muck was around before Nicky came to power, i am guess he gave him a pass,and Nicky never fucked with neighborhood people.
But back to beeps he could not make it down here,i am guessing the area books were already set up and he just did not know the local guys to get rolling,but he did try he put a good amount of money into the place....(they sell korean food there now)GOT TO LOVE IT

Serpiente, unrelated but why does phil leonetti think nick caramandi was not a gangster when they were with scarfo? why would scarfo put so much trust into caramandi if he wasn't a gangster like scarfo?

I always thought caramandi was more of a con man than a gangster

He knew him a while before,and the crow was like a scrapper is now days,he would anything for a buck,Phil knew it and never really jelled with him,
