It was decided by the Feds that DeLuca wasn't needed for the Bulger trial, as Weeks and Flemmi did plenty of damage. DeLuca has been an informant for over a decade and he gave up the strip club racket, the Big Dig extortion racket and all illegal gambling in Rhode Island and Boston. His secret testimony and information pipeline led to the arrests of Peter Limone, Carmen & Anthony DiNunzio, Mark Rossetti, Darin Bufalino, Anthony St. Laurent, Luigi Manocchio, Eddy Lato and all others connected to the strip club operation. If you remember, St. Laurent has been accusing him of being an informant for at least a decade and was seeking permission to whack DeLuca, but Baby Shacks and other high ranking members thought the Saint was delusional and on drugs...turned out he was spot on the entire time. New England is as good as toast, they are on life support.

Contrary to your statement, law enforcement and investigators from WPRI Providence confirmed that DeLuca had a "friendly" relationship with the FBI dating back to 2003-2004. He may have decided to cooperate "fully" after getting busted, but he also fed law enforcement information on rivals and a few wise guys in the North End during that time. The Saint "DID" contend that DeLuca was a rat and Deluca countered by saying the same things about the Saint. Get your facts straight.

LOL-Baby Shacks talked to Joe about everything, it was his constant companion, somebody he spoke to about private LCN business.
