The Police as OC - 07/16/13 01:23 AM

I wanted to post about this earlier about a PD near where I grew up that has so much corruption and turmoil it's essentially organized crime group. Some the Jersey guys might know about this, everybody in the area kinda knew what was happening for a long time but has gotten out of control lately. Here's one in a series from the Star Ledger in December and another on a more recent shenanigan, which legitimately crossed the line.
Check it out.

Mexico too to a lesser extent. 1ell at least the municipal and the federal police. Hell the Mexican army has been Chapos enforcement arm for the pas 7 years or acted that way. But everybody knows how bad corruption is in Mexico just read about the war between el Jt and Chapo and his Chihiahua based plaza bosses.

The Polices and LE are just the buttonmen & the footsoldiers.
The Feds. They're the real OC.Running one of the largest extortion rackets ever.

They take a slice of your income and a percentage of everything sold in their territory. If you don't pay, they threaten you with force. And if you don't comply, they send in their goons!

It's genius!

Corruption is pretty endemic these days. Even in England, the unmasking of an East London businessman as a major crime lord unearthed a web of corruption within Scotland Yard. I mean if things like this happen in Western Europe, it's bad.
