Aleman's Daughter Tries To Cash In With Book - 06/15/13 01:50 PM

Probably boring as it's doubtful she knew much. It's kind of funny , and telling, to watch the relatives of deceased mobsters try to shamelessly cash in on their fathers' sixth-rate notoriety. Except for a few exceptions these guys don't have the real celebrity to make something like that genuinely lucrative. None of them ever seem very concerned with all the people their dad killed.

Well not everybody is wealthy..if someone offers you 100k down, why not ?? She probably needs it...Its the parasites like victoria gotti who are the bottom of the garbage pail...I;m surprised she didn't freeze her father's body like ted williams son did so she could put him on display from city to city !!

Good point about them not caring about who their father's killed..When they're interviewed, they're father was Robert young from father knows best, not a ganster, and all his friends were great guys until their father is the one who gets killed !!

Yeah but I doubt anyone will even publish it, let alone pay her a $100K advance.

Nora Schweih here in Chicago is the same way. Her father was a stone cold psycho and she was running around on that crappy Mob Wives show, trying to make a wine named after him, etc.

Kind of on the same theme, she actually had his body exhumed on television to "make sure" he wasn't assisinated.

Call me cynical but I don't think she thought he was assisinated at all. I think she literally had her old man's body exhumed for good TV.

Family values!

I guess we would have to start calling Gotti the "Freon Don"

Lou Para, Harry Aleman was related Joe Ferriola. He was half Italian (on his mother's side). Ferriola was a Capo within the extended Cicero Crew. He had made men with him and soldier/associates working under them. Joey Auippa was the Boss of Cicero and the Top Boss of the Outfit. He had other made men in Cicero direct with him plus specialists direct with him.

I never could figure out if Aleman was made. He acted like a made guy because he could do pretty much whatever he wanted as long as it didn't interfere with another made man. He had guys working under him full time just like all other made guys in Chicago. He ran his own Loan Sharking Franchise and collected street taxes from independents who were not partnered with the Outfit in a certain area. He was one of the top killers for the Outfit years ago. I believe he belonged to his Uncle Joe Ferriola which would have made him a Cicero man. He was born and raised around Taylor St. If you get what I'm saying, he was classic made man Outfit Material. The only thing against him was his father not being Italian. To be honest, if Ferriola said Aleman was made, then he was made. Why? Because Ferriola said so, that's why! That's the way it was with the Outfit. Sometimes rules were bent to suit the needs of the greater goal which was to further the Outfit's tremendous power in Chicago and Las Vegas years ago.
