Tommy DiFiore?

Tommy DiFiore? - 06/14/13 05:44 PM

According to Jerry Capeci and gangland news Tommy DiFiore is the new boss of the bonanno crime family. He is from Long Island which surprises me. Usually the top bosses are from either brooklyn, harlem, or the Bronx. Staten Island also because all the Italians from jersey and brooklyn have moved there recently. No shortage of wise guys there. Rarely are they from north east Jersey, Long Island or other surrounding cities of NYC. But what can you guys tell me about him? Do you think he'll be an effective boss or a bad one? I undersand he's an old school wiseguy. Personally I believe they're off to a bad start if its plastered on gangland news already that he's the new boss. But who cares about my opinion right? I don't know much about him so thank you for your info.

So on the newest Bonnano Family chart Michael Mancuso is listed as a soldier on the actual chart but on top it says hes official boss.. Thomas Difiore is not even on the chart. at all. I actually cant ever recall seeing him on a chart. but on top of chart his name is listed as acting boss..

Re: Tommy DiFiore? - 06/24/13 12:56 PM

another thing. i was a bit surprised a few months back when I saw the bonanno ruling panel was Tony Rabito, Tommy Difiore, and Vincent Asaro.. Im not a Bonanno expert but I didnt know who Difiore was and he wasnt on the chart. and I heard of Asaro but he was a soldier on the chart. I suppose with all the arrests things get shaken up a lot.

They are pretty reliable if you get the right ones. But one has to remember that the news about Mancuso came out today.

They have a better clue than anyone else outside of the mob itself.

Why will the family make Michael the boss with 5 years in prison to go ,is it to sent the fed off the real boss?
