davey blue eyes

been looking into this book called alphaville about the heroin trade in the lower eastside of new york during the 80s and early 90s. Its the memoirs of this former cop michael codella and his pursuit of bring down this high level drug lord called davey blue eyes who was at the top of the food chain during that time.

some interesting stuff about davey, he was half puerto rican and italian, and also it mentions he had a connected uncle.However he was born and raised in the projects, and had a chinese connect for his heroin.
Does anyone know who this uncle might be or could give more of a background into this guy?

One of Jimmy Burke's sons was referred to as Davey Blue Eyes.....Since I didn't find out how old he is/was, I am not sure if he is the one they are referring to in that book.......A definite possibility though......How many nicknames are duplicated especially in the same NYC area?

I doubt he was related to burke. Also i think that the name davey blue eyes might be fake, he might have legally not have been able to use the guys real name in his book cause i can't find anything about him on the internet other than in reference to this book.
