Were any LCN known for their sense of humor? As incongruous as it seems, there must have been knock-around-guys who always saw the droll-Lenny Briscoe side to all that darkness.

According to Sammy Gravano Angelo Ruggiero was a funny guy. Even though he was a moron he liked him for his crudeness and humor

Wild Bill loved to Pull gags and goof on people he liked. In the 80's anyway in the 90's things got a little more serious obviously.

Lots of things, sometimes small little comments responding to a Person. sometimes just a look.

He once walked me over to a table full of heavy hitters. All of them sitting around the table at a Holiday affair, he said " Gentlemen, I would like you to meet (lets just say DP) - he will be starting a new job for us, From the Ground up".

These men laughed so hard they began hitting each other and almost flipped the table slamming their hands on the table. Bill walked me off with his arm around me laughing and really enjoying the Gag.

The reference of course was of me being in the cement, of the Construction Job, which of course did not happen since it was thank God only a Gag.

Bill was tight with only one Man I know of, that would be Billy Boy. Jr.

I knew him. He was a real Man.

I returned a favor to him once, all he would except was a box a cigars. Partagas 898's, his favorites.

He liked me, I respected him.
