New Detroit LCN federal indictment (D'Anna Bros)

The feds decided to indict the D'Anna Bros. (either associates or members of Frank Bommarito's crew) based on the Shelby Twp restaurant extortions. In '12, they were convicted and served a couple months in MCJ for beating the same guy with a baseball bat 11 times (originally charged with attempted murder, bribery and extortion).

Federal prosecutors made an explicit reference to the "Sicilian Mafia," but didn't explicitly refer to the Detroit Family, per se.

There's other "unnamed" co-conspirators, so I'm guessing this could be a preview of something else.

They are the great-nephews of Detroit LCN member Anthony "Tony Cars" D'Anna.

Considering they were initially arrested back in May 2011, I wonder what took so long.

I know. At their arraignment, prosecutors called them "dangerous" and even asked the judge to deny bond, but he refused. NO WAY in hell would they act like this for a couple of random idiots who've already served their time on a BS felonious assault charge. I mean, they had clean records prior to this.

It'd be nice to find out who the "known and unknown" co-conspirators are.
