Ruggiero Tapes - 02/08/13 06:26 PM

Have any of us here ever had peek or source for Fat Angelo's fbi transcripts? What a bonanza that would be. I got the Gotti tapes, with Sammy's testimony, and so on -- but that would be the motherload. Quack Quack mouthed about everything and everybody!

Who was it said, dial any random phone numbers, even money Angelo would answer? lol

I've never heard the actual tapes but from books it's talk of heroin distribution and BS about Big Paul...

did'nt I read somewhere he even cracks about Gotti Sr and his excessive gambling?

I've often wondered if the often told tale of him not wanting Big Paul to get the tape because of the H was just part of the story. Supposedly there was a bunch of scuzzy shit, like the Gotti gambling. Who's to say what other made guys he scandalized...true they may or may not have been cause for him getting knocked off, but whose to say till he gives up the damn tapes! cool

Here is a list of wiretaps I am dying to read:
1.The Goodfella Tapes - from DeCavalcante's Kenilworth Plumbing offices
2.Raymond L.S. Patriarca's Atwells Ave. 'Office' tapes
3."Little Al" the bug planted by Roemer in Chicago
4. The tapes made in Gyp DeCarlo's 'shack' in N.J.

Hold a sec. Aren't they public property? Couldn't you get then through the Freedom of Information Act?

Yeah, you'd have to pay for printing, for sho. But I'd think some enterprising publisher would've jumped all over that, like that guy slinging Gotti Tapes at the trial. Maybe an anthology with all the ones SP cited!!!

Re: Ruggiero Tapes - 02/10/13 01:18 AM

Patriarca tapes were made in the 60's I bet they are not even around anymore....

I heard or read somewhere it was constant stream of local folks asking for favors, grocery money and even someone that wanted his daughters BF whacked because they had premarital sex...

His serious talking was done elsewhere..

Skinny, there is a link to the Mary Ferrell site over on the Real Deal forum that has a transcript of a convo between Gyp and Anthony Russo. They talk about the inner workings of the Genovese in the 50's and 60's. Particularly, the relationship between Gyp, Richie the Boot, Vito Genovese and the Catena brothers. They also talk about a young, crazy as hell Harold Konigsberg. It gives insight into the treachery they lived around. They go into detail about the bar-b-que pit/iron grate that the Boot used to dispose of the numerous dead bodies. The Boot's Livingston, NJ estate was a killing ground and crematorium. I bet the neighbors got a snoot full. Yuk!
