Mobsters who once had it all, but then lost it. - 01/08/13 06:37 PM
Name some guys who once had the world by the balls, but ended up living in the streets pretty much homeless or fucked up on drugs. Losing everything.

If you consider going to jail losing everything. I would say Danny Leo.

What did Danny lose? Sold the Rockleigh house, didn't lose it! Losing it is when uncle Sam puts a sign up for you and sells it!

He's coming home to his family intact and a ton of dough. There are wiseguys who have lost much more than he has.

Angelo did everything he was supposed to do. You can't get caught up in that rivalry between him and Danny. Or him and Tino, for that matter.

I understand why you would say that, I was referring to his landlord skills! Hurt a lot of start up family businesses

I was not aware he was out of jail. Some of those guys are still in the heroin business. I heard they move heroin to Russia. From a place north of afganistan called Uzbekistan they own the military but I could be wrong

I heard Tino was a scary guy. One of those people you made a point to stay out of their way.

i would put gaspipe high up on the list, the guy was worth a ton of money, was underboss. gaspipe claims he was offerd 23yrs on a plea bargain, and i believe it cause if you look at all gaspipes killer brooklyn guys like zappola, lastorino, conte, barratta ect. they all took plea's of 15yrs+ and there all home or getting out in a few years. casso should have jumped at that plea. i did read a colombo soldier shooked down his wife, i tihnk it was in carlo's book so might not be true. then his kids got porked by the mob cop rat burt kaplan who screwd them out of a nice house in brooklyn, casso put in his name so when he bought the better house irs wouldnt come stalking. theres a picture on this site of casso other house in brooklyn rite by the ocean that might be one of the best mobster houses ever. its more like a mansion, its like 4 stories on a dead end street, got the villa thng goin boat ramps in the back 10/10.

It's a figment of the Government's imagination. The term gained popularity during the Mikey Cigars trial a few years ago. According to the Feds, Tino, Mikey and three other guys referred to themselves as "The Fist," kind of like an elite shadow hit crew for the Westside. But I don't believe it. It sounds too contrived and "Hollywood" to me

Of course, Gotti, Gravano, DeCicco, Armone, and DiBernardo called themselves "The Fist" when they were plotting to take out Castellano.

That was Robert Harris Jr., a politically-connected nightclub owner who tried to open up a large bookmaking operation that catered to black players in Genovese territory. After disappearing three months earlier, in March 1969, his body was found at a Jersey dump. His skull was crushed. His spine was broken. The ribs on the right side of his body were caved in. Nine ribs on the left side were fractured, as was his right leg. He was shot once in the chest. He was in a kneeling position, with his ankles tied to the back of his head with wire.
