Hey I was seeing if anyone has checked out the show on discovery its actually on right now. I watched some of it earlier today I think its a big joke. This guy Levi being such a badass is really corny...and so are his henchman..

its ok, just remember its entertainment. as a kid, we used to go to lancaster county all the time, they do make some amazing fudge! with all that said, the show is best enjoyed with some "green corn"

The last time I went out to Lancaster County was to bail a friend/asspciote out of jail. She was already outside with the bailsbondsman. The jail was Mid-Evil looking.

Also this girl my friend dated moved out there because she got a high paying job as a radiologist...She also had a cute friend so me and my buddy went out there to spend the night and almost ended up in jail. This spot we went to I guess was a club/bar hooked onto a hotel and these middle aged guys with cowboy hats were hitting on the girls we were with and creeping them out, asking them to dance ans shit. So we exchanged words and what not ..The one guy pushes my buddy and I see were out numbered four to two...The one hillbilie started saying shit about my mother I'll never forget this the girl I'm with throws a drink in one guys face before the other guy can say another word I cracked him the jaw he goes down...Meanwhile one of the bouncers had seen what was going and the bouncers rush us and kick everyone out..The middle age hillbillies all left in one car yelling shit and what not it pretty chaotic...After they left..The bouncers were cool enough to let us stay seeing that we were "victims" I guess those guys were regulars there. But since bailing my friend/associate out of jail I haven't returned there.

While entertaining to watch, I put little faith in its accuracies, even as dramatizations of actual events.

I vote for 100% fake, if they were doing anything remotely illegal do you think they would go on TV and talk about.

its 100% fake the dudes are down in florida at a bar every year before this show came on for summer vacation and dress normal and are part of a mennonite community that is here but Levi is here all the time and you would never know he is any different but now he may be a bigger deal

This show is ridiculous. I think the hillbillies on Moonshiners are more badass than any of these Amish pussies. I'd like to see these guys come across some real gangsters and laugh while you watch them cry and whimper and shit themselves as a real hard motherfucker like Carneglia, Bulger, or Casso holds a .45 to their head

Yea i seen all three.. im sorry but i do think it is funny..But the shotgun blast through that guys white car window shield now you would of think the cops would of been on that quick..And the running over of the non amish guys fruit stand..Yea it hard to think that it is real..Like Oldsmoke said Moonshiners is foreal n a good show.. and Popcorn sutton was the man loved his dance..And its probally how the mob got its first kick start..Duaring proabition the mob had to know the moonshiner to get that booze for thier secret bars n clubs..

The envelope thing is common whether it's crime related for trading currency and what not, but I get what your saying. Yeah it was great when the henchman was like " They all have new cars and motorcycles and all I have is a scooter

Ha Ha great post and that poor kid on that scooter sounds and looks like he smokin his share..And oh yes it aint to far from philly it does have some great food n fudge..Havent been out there in awhile but Shady maple was one pretty good spot..And even out at Zerns in Gilbertsville they have lots of amish food..

I'm routing for the chick on the show... she has the real power... she can control Levi, her idiot brother, and the horny Mennonite guy...

The York fair is a big deal and its against their culture to go to such an outing the girl was bitching about what a fucking disgrace for a show some of this reality shit is fucking reality trash tv
