So martorano sold the rights to his life story a few years back to a hollywood filmmaker. He's led an interesting life to say the least.20murders and he worked with flemmi and bulged for years.plus Howie winter and his guys.does any1know if there is a movie being made it? Or is this where the book pitman comes from.cus id love to see a movie on him

I heard but I can't confirm that he's related to a restaurant guy in Vegas at the Rio who runs a joint called "Martorano's"... If so, does anyone know how deep is the connection aside from just being family, no pun intended?

Nah the guy with the resturants is related to the Philly Martaranos. Long John son's story is a good one. Hes spending life in prison with no parole for a drug charge he plead guilty to. He is a writer now while in prison. Google him, some good stuff.
