since ivy left, i think it would be fair to say that hairy is the most informative poster we have. he is able to go into great detail about specific people/subjects, and i've really learned alot from his posts, good work sir!

That was all their own doing. If anyone had bothered to ask me, they'd have known I was NEVER going back. I was flat out told all I had to do was apologize and I'd be back. But I wasn't sorry and I don't make insincere apologies.

Carm's right about begging a guy to stay. Not just Wilson, either. We've had people here in the past who started similar self serving farewell threads. Then nine out of ten of them come back to argue with the people who replied to the "suicide note."

That's why I said in my earlier post that Wilson will open himself up to even more ridicule if he comes back after all this self serving nonsense.

Truth is, the OC section of this site has gone completely to hell in the last year, and everybody knows it. Even half a year ago the quality was a thousand times better.

Truth is, nowadays its mostly 16 year old idiots jerking off to a poster of John Gotti while posting psychotic threads that really go no where. 'What was the Chin's favorite ice cream?' 'Who was the toughest of them all' wank wank.

And the few remaining knowledgeable posters actually get ridiculed by the masturbating idiots when they post something meaningfull every once in a while. And the mods don't give a fuck about the OC section, which is their good right I guess. They tolerate stupid idiots who contribute nothing, and then ban people who actually add something to the site.

This is the last time I'm going to say this, as it's already in the Board Rules...

1) If you don't like particular people, IGNORE THEM. If they're that bad, they won't last that long anyway.

2) If you don't like particular threads, IGNORE THEM. If they're that bad, they'll get pushed down and out of sight eventually. The more a "good" thread is commented on, the higher it is in the list, pushing out the "bad" threads.

3) If you don't like how the BB is managed, take a voluntary break from it. While voicing your opinion is okay, questioning a Mod's decision isn't -- that may cause you an involuntary break (suspension).

4) If it's perceived that you're only here to cause trouble, action will be taken more swiftly to nip the problem in the bud. That usually means an indefinite break (banning).

So please, THINK FIRST. If you see a problematic post, report it. Flaming just makes this worse, so I suggest everyone cut the crap and let's try to get this section back to what it was.

I've been posting on these crime boards since I was in college. I learned one thing. They are usually moderated by the most angry, bitter people. It's true. I used to admin a popular board and I can't remember any of my mods talking to my posters that way. Heavy handed mods are the downfall of a decent forum.

That Cardi jumped my shit on my first post. I posted about the Real Deal because I thought some skel who posted there owned this site. Dude was giving me a heavy eye. Confrontational.

These started up a couple of years ago but nothing is official - like I said... rumors.

I wonder if the brothers are having an sleepless nights due to these rumors.

They've been saying that since the end of the first trial. I'll see it when I believe it.

As far as I can tell these rumors tend to be filtered through John Kass. I think he has friends at the bureau who probably just tell him that once in a while so he prints it to try to scare the hell out of the gangsters and see if anything shakes out.

It's somewhat surprising John DiFronzio didn't get indicted the first time. Nick Calabrese testified that he participated in the Spilotro murders, which is what Marcello was ultimately convicted of, but they apparently didn't have any other evidence besides Nick's testimony.

For Marcello Michael Spilotro's daughter made a "voice ID" over the phone... I think that was it.

Hard to believe that a 40-year-old voice ID was the only thing that separated Marcello from being indicted (at least on that charge) and letting DiFronzio go. However, I think Marcello was also convicted of other stuff.

Forgive me if I got anything wrong in the above, it's been a while since I revisited that trial.
