The meanest mobster.........

The meanest mobster......... - 11/09/12 05:14 PM

Who was the meanest mobster in your opinion?

Who would knock your teeth out of you looked at him the wrong way?

Also who were the toughest enforcers that you have read about or knew from the area you grew up in?

One time this guy, maybe italian, who was possibly hanging at a "Mob Social club" told me he didn't like my socks. I was pretty upset.

It's seems like Scarfo was pretty mean; killed you if he didn't like you and killed you if others liked you to much....

Haha True! I believe Scarfo was a little protected in The Government because so they say, He has ordered and committed so many murders and I don't know anyone who has ever got off so light until now.

Who would win in a fist fight?

Scarfo or Pitera?
Posted By: Imamobguy

Re: The meanest mobster......... - 11/09/12 08:18 PM

Tommy Pitera now. Tommy started his career basically around 1990 and so they say Tommy was an amazing killer. The 1990s is just an introduction to the 2000s.

Scarfo isnt really used to this era, He wouldnt plan it and would be Arrested the following day. Scarfo is a 60s/70s man. I wouldn't know about a fight, All I know is these guys wouldnt fight. They would kill each other, Haha.

Re: The meanest mobster......... - 11/09/12 09:01 PM

I only really know about Chicago. Here, those with the worst reps were: Vincenzo Ribaldi aka Jack McGurn (basically the Nitti character in the Untouchables) and I would say from the more modern era Sam DeStefano, Harry Aleman, Frank Schweihs and Tony Spilotro (Nikki/Pesci from Casino).

In terms of cruelty/craziness, DeStefano and Spilotro had the worst reps.

In terms of body counts, just a guess, but maybe McGurn and Aleman. In both eras they were knocking people down left and right all the time.

More recently Frank Schweihs had a real bad reputation. A few guys still walking around I won't mention..

In terms of who you wouldn't want to cross... none of them. But generally the stupider ones were the ones known for kicking your head in if you accidentally bumped into them at a nightclub, not so much the known guys, but the small timers.

I don't know much about the east coast but Roy Demeo (sp.) I think is suspected to have one of the highest body counts in American organized crime, someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

The Gemini Club was a factory for Roy DeMeo to chop up victims. He would order food while the bodies was hanging upside draining the blood. Now that is mean and fucked up. His crew was just as bad.

My vote goes to Carmine Galante. He was so feared all the five families had to plot his death together. He'd make any mobster shiver if they went against him.

Thats a well thought out statement, if he was so feared why didnt he die in his bed? His own body gaurds turned on him ! They were afraid! Thats why they filled him full of holes! Dont give me the "he scared them all" BS! He was pushing to much junk and brining to much heat around everyone! Plain and simple. He wasnt feared! He was HATED!

If they weren't scared of him they woulda clipped him much sooner, because he wasn't just becoming a problem, he had been for years. Galante wasn't feared. Not at all. Give me some more stupid stories of how you once opened the toilet door for some heavy mobster guy...

Many Mafia murders ARE results of fear. There is always the option of shelving someone. But in Lilo´s case...who would have had the balls to shelve him...and get away with it?
Bonanno (his superior) most probably did it back in 1962. But in 1979, Lilo´s mindset was that nobody was his superior. He was definitely feared by many people.

Never said he wasn't feared! I stated in this case he was murdered because he was hated and he was putting to much junk on the street and was bringing a ton of heat on everyone! Greed was also a huge factor.

He's some sourced information on your boy! Says he was "mentally undeveloped" I.E. retarded and if you read the entire article it states the other bosses though he was a big mouth and a JOKE! The only person who talked about him being scary is you and him. Other than that he's not to highly thought of! So you two can rest assured I've utilized a source. LCN you'll probably come up with another weak excuse or comment. That's about the extent of your value! I find your comments funny!

Not sure he was ever made, he owns a container company with his brothers and cousins in Jersey. Making a fortune.

Nah he aint made. As far as I know.. But still, I doubt it, chin never wanted his sons to be in the life. When Gotti told him Junior ws made Chin said "im sorry to hear that". I seriously doubt that he would let his get made. Like most of Chin's family, he just was set up with a great job or a easy business especially considering all the friends they have there on the docks and with the old down neck guys. But never a tough guy!
