Overlook ? - 09/14/12 02:19 PM

I have done research on black american organized crime and only one crime group that is label in that category which is the BGF prison gang. I read about many others that is infamously known yet are completely extinct. From the earliest group known as the Big 12 policy syndicate to the Black Mafia Family drug ring. Usually , they last between 10-20 years before succumbing to their demise by law enforcement/ internal conflicts. Is there any groups that are still active and define under the racketeering enterprise that I haven't heard or overlooked?

I'm guessing you've seen "The Wire." But the song remains the same whether your black/Italian/or live in the wilderness if you draw attention to yourself by wearing bling bling your going to the cling cling

I think with black organised crime you got different categories, you got the gang franchises like the bloods, crips, gangster disciples, vice lords, pstones and then prison based groups like the bgf, dc blacks , kumi 415. Then youve got cities like baltimore and philly that produce home grown organisations that are usually neighbourhood based and sometimes even wide scale like craig petties, michael lock, black mafia and bmf.

This is an interesting story from new york about how the bloods were recouping some of their losses after a police crackdown.
