sorry meant each family individually

Re: membership - 08/26/12 02:47 AM
Ahh I see. Well that's up to serious debate. For example, some day Carlo Gambino had 500 soliders by the time he died. Others say about 350. We can't be completely sure, but I know there are others on this board who know more than me.
Welcome to the forum Nicky

same for L.A., Pittsburgh, and Rochester

Re: membership - 08/26/12 03:14 AM
Yeah Rochester is prob inactive. Pitt and LA probably have 20 guys combined. The only viable precense they have in the states is New York, Philly, New Jersey, New England (Boston and Providence), Chicago, South Florida, and Detroit.

what areas in nyc have the most mob activity

Re: membership - 08/26/12 03:20 AM
All of them to varying to degrees. Each Family has more territory in one than others for ex: The Colombos stick to Brooklyn and Long Island, they aren't as spread out. The Genovese's are everywhere because they are the biggest.

I thought LA was somewhat active. But I know Peter Milano died and the rest of the leadership kinda retired or died off. So I wouldn't be surprised if you were right

rochester has zero made guys active, pittsburg has 1 made guy who is semi-active if you even wanna go that far. LA has maybe 6 semi- active made guys, and most of the ones that are spend more time in thier legal businesses like porn production, air conditioning, one has a pizza shop and another a tattoo shop, but nothing even remotely organized.

Not in the casino's directly, but they probably invest in a lot of legitimate buisnesses. But it's not possible for them to hold sway in Vegas anymore, they suspect any mob involvment they suspend your gambling license

Have you been to Revel yet in A.C. FF? A.C. is struggling right now.

Re: membership - 08/26/12 10:02 PM
Other than New York and Chicago, these families are severely weakened or gone. LA, Pitt, Cleveland, New Orleans, San Francisco, and Milwaukee are gone. NJ, Philly, Boston/Providence, Buffalo and Detroit are way down from past membership.

even though a lot of NJ, Philly, Boston/Providence guys went to jail, they're still long away from going defunct

This is true, Philly and NJ have come back. As for the Patriarca Family they're in deep shit
