How do the Chicago Outift associates get inducted into the Outfit? Since it's not a family, do they use the same rituals and traditions?

They had a ceremony back in the day, in recent years the books have been "closed", but I've heard they wouldn't conduct a real ceremony even if they wanted to.

no rituals and traditions in the outfit cuz they are a gang not a crime family and i think that any1 can be an outfit member not only sicilians,plus they thought it was bollocks

Even when the Outfit does expand by "making" a new member in Chicago, the induction includes none of the pinpricks, blood oaths, and two-cheek kisses. You have to have a close friend who is a top member and you will be represented by him then John DiFronzo checks you out (Chicago Outfit Boss)
