Gallo's crew was the 6th family..... - 05/05/12 09:58 AM

Joe "Crazy Joe" Gallo, a tough Napolitano street hood took on the boss of the old Profaci family and had a pretty big crew of soldiers and mob associates, one of his mob associates was Mike Rizzitello, who later was made into the L.A. family.

I know you've read that book about the Rizzuto's being the 6th family, but they were not even located in the city of New York. Yes, they kicked up to the Bonanno's once upon a time. Just my two cents.

Mike Rizzitello came out here to LA, well actually Orange County and shot a guy in a parking lot in Santa Ana in front of a strip club. Died in prison in '05

Gallo was an outcast.
Crazy Joe's gang tried and failed in a war against the Coloumbo hierarchy.
If they'd pulled a stunt like that with the Gambino's or Genovese then Joe would have met his maker long before he actually did!

Are they any good books on him? I Saw his the mobsters segment on him a few times on bio. Some of those authors are creepy the one guy jon davis or whatever looks like dracula, I was expecting him to turn into a bat and just fly away. They speak of these dead gangsters with such bravado, you wonder if they've ever been with a women. roglmfao

I was in West Palm Beach(South Florida)confined to a luxurious rehab center then a halfway house. $4,000 a week my insurance was billed but luckily it was a non-hardship facility there were people from all over the place there. Having had on going legal problems it was nice to leave Philadelphia for a little bit considering I'm only 28 years old.

Frosty was a cool guy, but I think he had a big issue with drinking, and when he did he was an angry one.

Stay drug free if you are clean. There's a big reason why they are illlegal. When I lived in Phoenix I did meth for three months. I quit cold turkey, good thing I didn't do it for long, if so my body would have went into major shock for quiting that fast. Rehab centers are great because they have the right medicine for coming down off all that crap. That's just what it is!
