All of Sicily is gorgeous; every province. The entire island is amazingly beautiful.
As far as mafioso go, Agrigento is the most densely populated province of mafioso.

m2w... You understand Italian, I assume? If not, I will look again. I only spoke from my own knowledge, but will search for more results if I have to.

If anything it's a province, not just one particular town where they would come from. And really, as far as that's concerned, I think most have come from the province of Trapani, such as Bonnano's. Many from town of Castellammare del Golfo, but not limited to.

m2w... not sure what site that is you linked to. Looks like a newspaper article; however, it does back what you said. I looked up a few more sites that back what I said, one being that BitterQueen site. Doesn't really matter. It's an irrelevant statistic, regardless.

yes they are just irrelevant statistics, according this newspaper novara is the most densely populated of mafia in the whole northern italy even first than milan or turin that are litterally infested by mafia

It's a typical Italian town. Not overly beautifull but nice. The beaches are much better in San Vito lo Capo.In fact, the main beach below town didn't look inviting at all.

This raises an interesting question I've been mulling around. It appears that certain NYC or US organized crime entities have ties or alliances with Siciliy, Naples, etc. Do the organized crime entities in Italy (including Sicily) pass off or sell information to rival factions when they are enlisted by the US counterparts? Anyone hear of that happening?
