Vinny Basciano is the house on the corner of Revere and Schurz in The Bronx, not sure of the exact number.

That house is right around the block from me, but they sold it five or six years ago (146 Revere Avenue).

God, the bullying they did just to cut down trees for a better view of the Long Island Sound was terrible.

Are you from the East Bronx, tt120?

Re: Map to Mobsters Homes - 11/18/11 06:11 PM

I will add those to the map, thanks.

As far as privacy, most (if not all) of the ones listed are the former residence since almost everyone on the list is either imprisoned or deceased. I also only posted ones which the address was public knowledge with a quick google search. As a 3rd safeguard, I made the map private so only those that have the exact link I posted can see it. You can not find the map or any of it's contents from a web search.

I just thought it would be a fun exercise to see the proximity of these landmarks and see what they look like today compared to what they looked like in their heyday. I can certainly delete it if anyone feels like I am invading someones privacy.

159 Whitewood Drive (DeMeo's house) looks very nice (and expensive).
The cobbled driveway (unless the new owners have re-done it) was laid by Roy and his son.
Roy got someone to steal the materials for the job for him! (according to Alberts book)
Typical wiseguy - dont pay for something if you dont have to. LOL
