Interesting little ABC piece on Michael Franzese

This is from last year, but it completely escaped me for some reason. You can hear excerpts from a few of the tapes Sonny's kid, John made of his father.

What is also interesting is that he claims some guy from his crew called him up recently and asked him to come back. I bet he talks to these morons every week, like things didn't even skip a beat. To quote him, "I miss the camaraderie I had with the guys. To me there is nothing more powerful than a brotherhood." I think he should just say what he's really thinking, "I'm actually trying to figure out a way to become boss."
