Day to day life in the mafia....

What happens from like the moment they start the morning do they go to a certain place and have a meeting on whats going to happen that day or do they just do their own thing? Really stupid question but im new to stuff like this..

Great question. Well, John Gotti usually woke up at noon. Then he'd take a two hour bath with Jackie Nose, watch Geraldo and go jogging with Genie. Business was the last thing on his mind.

As for The Chin. Well, The Chin would wake up at around 4pm, take a shower with his umbrella and practice the art of drooling until about midnight. That's when Benny Eggs picked him up and I wish I could deny it, but they'd hit the titty bars.

The capos and the soldiers are usually woken up by their mothers and told go look for jobs. It's pretty sad.

its a good question jay i often wonder these things myself. I know most mob activity occurs later in the day. I think alot of mobsters sleep late cause they have been out late.

I am sure like all people there day to day routines vary depending on the person. I have heard of mobsters who are home every night for dinner with there families and others who are out gambling or chasing broads all night. I often wonder what there days are like .

I would of thought it would of been like do your own dutys during the day like money making etc... then at night meet up with fellow mobsters and discuss what you have done then give the capo the money you make and he passes it up or something along those lines...

Well the smart guys get up and go to their businesses. Some of these guys actually bust their ass.. Some get up and meet up at thier local hangouts .. card places.. from what i know.. these underground card games are big and meeting place.. Alot of these guys own business fronts and this is where they set up shop.. Vacations, atlantic city, miami.. Many of the younger generation gangsters are very flashy.. They stay at the same restaurants.. Not hard to find around the NY area..
