Long-time Mafioso facing drug charges

A man believed to be major mob figure in New England is in custody tonight.
State Police took Mark Rossetti into custody this afternoon, as captured on camera exclusively by FOX Undercover.
Law enforcement sources say Mark Rossetti is a captain in the New England Mafia, but now he’s locked up, arrested by Mass. State Police organized crime investigators and accused of playing a key role in a drug ring.
He’s one of six men arrested at several locations on the North Shore and Boston. While authorities were not releasing the details behind Rossetti's arrest, it's clear he's a respected figure in the New England Mafia.
Exclusive video recorded by FOX Undercover last fall at Rossetti’s mother’s wake in East Boston show the men believed to run the Mafia in New England gathering to pay their respects, including Peter Limone, the boss of the New England mob, and Bobby DeLuca, the underboss, up from Providence, Rhode Island.
After the wake, the leaders of the New England mob gathered around the corner at Carmen's Kitchen, a restaurant owned by the sister of Carmen "The Cheeseman" DiNunzio.
DiNunzio used to be the face of the mob in Boston, but he's in prison now, serving a six-year sentence. Now it's Rossetti who's the latest reputed mobster to face criminal charges.
This is hardly the first arrest for the 50-year-old Rossetti, who has spent quite a bit of time in prison. His criminal career includes a conviction for an armored car robbery, and he was locked up again after pleading guilty to being a felon with a firearm. Rossetti and the other men arrested are expected to be in court tomorrow.
