Wow!!! 37 De Niro movies. I didn't realize until now that i've seen so many. I don't think i've watched as many movies for any other actor. That just tells you why he's my fav actor.

Ive probaly seen more, I just cant remember.

Man, Ricardo, that poll was like taking the Graduate Entrance Exams!

Although Vito was my favorite, I voted for Max Cady in question #1 to "pay my respects" for DeNiro's superb acting in a role that was quite a
departure from his other roles.

I thought he was great as Don Lino "Sharkslayer". Out of my time machine came my future self, telling me how great this cartoon movie was. I still don;t believe.

I've seen so many DeNiro movies in the past year, that every thing I see I could pciture DeNiro!

Ricardo (and everyone else): You should definitely check out "True Confessions," one of the most underrated great movies ever. DeNiro is excellent, but Duvall gives the peformance of his career in this worthwhile film. The rest of the cast is outstanding, too.

I saw it in the theatre as soon as it came out. Mr. Turnbull is right: one of the most underrated great movies ever. Not a "Bang Bang Bang". A thinking man's (or woman's) flick.

Its on AMC this week, but only while i'm in school or sleeping.

Library/Rentals dont have it.

Havent seen it to buy anywhere.

Ricardo: Good poll. I never realized how many De Niro films I'd seen. Small point: For me, MIDNIGHT RUN is a comedy.

Turnbull: TRUE CONFESSIONS has come up before, of course. I couldn't agree with you more. A TRULY GREAT FILM. Definitely in my all time top 20. What a supporting cast, too: Burgess Meridith, Cyril Cusak, Charles Durning, Kenneth McMillan. And you're right; great more for Duvall than De Niro.

bnest bobby d role is either raging bull or taxi driver but a close third is goodfellas imo

my Mean Streets dvd finally arrived yesterday and just finished watching the movie. its a great film and awesome performance by Harvey Keitel. i love the acting of Bobby De Niro as the "wild" Johnny Boy.

i have to say bobby's best role was travis bickle in taxi driver. IT WAS CLASSIC!!!!!!! "you talkin to me" was born and is now his most famous line.

his prize-winning performances are to usual to pick so I chose Jack Byrners-Meet the Parents. He lifted that movie from a mediocre farce to a hilarious trip.

Taxi Driver, in my opinion, is by far De Niro's best role, and I believe that his portrayal of Travis Bickle should be ranked up there with Al Pacino's portrayal of Michael Corleone. Yea, its that good.
